No matter how hard the three of us searched high and low, we couldn't find her. Later, we learned that she had been sacrificed by someone claiming to be a Grand Mage. Before we could avenge her, the immortals discovered the Cosmic Tree. Noctis and I were taken away and imprisoned in the Novem Skies, while Sylvara was driven out of Mount Everspire.

Unlike the side we were in, paradise was teeming with life and sunlight. The grass was green and the flowers were blossoming. Everything was beautiful and it made me want to crossover there and just lay on the grass and take a long nap. The door came into view and we hurried towards it, thoughts of paradise long forgotten. As I had predicted it was guarded by Cerberus, hell’s three headed dog. Which snapped and growled at us. “Leaving so soon? I was just beginning to have fun with you" Sophie and I sharply turned at Hades' mocking voice.

After a while, the force stopped and she felt someone or something whispered to her ‘open the book’ She opened the first page of the book and a bright light which almost cost her sight shone on the wordings of the books. “You have been found worthy of reading the pages of the books” the game mastered stated. Suddenly, she noticed the environment drifting away and they were brought to the mountains which they had first touched down while hoping to enter Belzibub. “Now that you have the book, what do you intend to do with it?” Sir George stated to Valerie who was feeling the covers of the book.

They looked at each other and were lost for a moment as a raw elemental message they couldn't understand pass through them. Kylie was the first to recover herself as she pulled away. "I told you they were meant to be." Carina said,her voice filled with happiness. "The card is nice." Kylie said feeling heat rise to her cheek. What was wrong with her? "They've made their choice Carina and it's very lovely." Lucinda said smiling. "I'll leave first. I have a lot of things to work on. Goodnight mother,goodnight night Mrs Lucinda." Kylie said as she stood up to kiss their cheeks.

The sea shuddered in pleasure. I shuddered in rage. This wasn’t how the tide was meant to turn. This wasn’t the balance I’d been promised. This wasn’t the war I’d risen for. Aria survived where she should’ve cracked. Ares rose where he should’ve fallen. And the sea the sea whispered a prophecy I had not heard before: “Three. Not two. Balance breaks in threes.” The wind froze. My heart did too. “No,” I whispered. “No, that’s not the story. That’s not how we were written.”
