That had been his schedule literally my entire life. My mom worked part-time at a daycare in the office, only two days a week. Financially, she never needed to work. Her parents left the house and land to them that I grew up on and they never had to have a mortgage. My dad could likely retire now from the factory where he worked, but he had a cushy supervisor position these days and I supposed it gave him something to do. I wasn’t even in the shower for a minute when Jude joined me and he again showed me with his body how he indeed felt about me. A girl could surely get used to this.

He turned off his phone when we walked in here, which I have a feeling he might regret if anything messes up at the business. I've agreed to stay at his place on the days I won't be studying, it's only for another three months, then I won't be restricted. “I don't want to talk about details But I was depressed, and he saved me. And why are you not living with him?” Joy asks and I internally roll my eyes at her for ruining a perfect moment with dad. “He owns an interior designing company, and He is usually out on tours. He stays with me whenever he is visiting town.”

“Will you be home for supper, dad?” “I’m not sure, honey. I have a meeting with a client, and it may run late. Just put a plate in the warmer for me if I don’t make it in time.” I nod. My dad is a partner at his Law Firm, so it’s no surprise when he doesn’t make it home on time. Sometimes my mom will bring dinner to him and his client if the meeting runs over.
