There were sections for each genre of books, history, fiction, lifestyle and the likes. “Wow.” Was all I could say. After rummaging the shelves, my eyes caught a book with a weird cover. The cover was filled with drawings of different creatures I had never seen. “Tch, how do I get that book?” I muttered. It was positioned at an upper part of the shelf that I couldn't reach even if I was twice as tall. “Do you need any help, milady?” I heard a tiny voice say. I looked from Samantha to Eloise, but it didn't seem like they were the ones who spoke. They were flipping through some books.

This is the first book in a five-part series. These books will need to be read in order for you to understand them. The characters are very dynamic and there will be at least two different plots within eah book which will be very intertwined. There will be hints towards the end that will lead into what will be happening in the next book. The only book that does not hold to this is book two since it is specifically about how the triplets came to be.

The sun is just above the tree line in the distance making its way into the library. The balcony wrapped around the three sides where the books rested and had two spiral staircases on either side. Below I could see a few tables and chairs and a couple leather sofas with a few throws draped over them. I wonder if there are books here that have answers to all my questions? My stomach caught me off guard as it growled. Ha, maybe I should investigate where the kitchen is first.

I turned it to the side where there is no dirt and wipe the book using it. I saw a black cover with gold linings and designs. I touch the ribbons that are placed in some of the pages. There are symbols located at the bottom part of the cover, carved and painted in the color of gold, but I don’t understand what it means. I looked at the back but there were just designs. I tried opening it but there’s a metal lock on the side. Huh? Was this… a secret book? It kinda looked like a grimoire.

Then I noticed the cover of the book, it has a hole round shape in it and an anchor then ship wheel in it. I look at the three objects in my hand and the book. I put two and two together and realized something. I connected the dots and placed the three objects into the holes in the cover of the book. I was almost blinded when it shined so bright. I let out a surprise gasp when the book floated and automatically flipped the pages. It stopped at one page. The book slowly landed back down on the bed. I let out a deep breath and decided to read what the book was showing me.

The illustrations are also hand-drawn, and I have to say that they look pretty good. Like the other book, this one discusses all the Houses and their histories, their mottos. The only difference is that in this book, our House name isn’t one of the first ones. “That’s strange,” I say. I flip over the book and realize that most of the pages are empty. It’s an unfinished volume. Only the first few pages are filled up. “My House is one of the oldest ones. We’re almost at every page of every book in here. We’re always mentioned. But not this one.”

The History of Literary Criticism. "Huh," I laugh. No wonder it's never been read. It sounds incredibly boring. It's so beautiful, though, that I can't resist pulling it down off the shelf and carefully flipping open the cover. And that's when I understand why this book is different. It's not a book at all - at least not a functional one. All of the pages have been glued together, and a block has been carved out of the middle, making a perfect little nook in which to conceal something. There's something inside - a small, roughly rectangular bundle wrapped in plain cloth.

It’s convenient to be able to access everything from a tablet or phone, but something intangible is certainly lost in the process. As I near the end of the row of neatly placed, perfectly uniform books, my fingertips register the rough edges of worn leather. These books are not like the rest. Either well loved, badly looked after or older than the room which houses them, there is something beyond the obvious that sets them apart.

The books must have been poorly preserved… > The library was at the side of the building, it has two doors, one on the first floor and the other on the second, that’s the one I got from. The size of it is admirable, and the numbers of books on the shelves are even more astonishing… There is even a corner to drink tea and eat while reading and a desk to work on! Above the chimney in front of the sitting corner… a big painting covered by a dusty white sheet… this place…

It stuck, and wouldn't remove. Her guts encouraged her to touch the book. And she did. She touched the book, and then slanted it, as if, wanting to remove it from its position amongst the books in that particular shelf. But as she did so, she heard unlocking sounds, and watched as the library parted into two, from that particular book. The book was divided into two equal parts now. "You did it!" She heard Anthony say, and turned and look at him. He was smiling down at her.
