As the giant trunk started to go down, the berserker ape’s exhilaration was reaching its peak. Then it hits. The sound of wood splintering echoes in the woods. Then the berserker feels a tough object strike its chest. It backs away in pain unable to release it in the form of a roar. It vomits blood. It was hit by something. Opening its eyes, the berserker sees the Draco’s claw clenched into a fist. How did it know to do that? It simply copied the berserker’s attack except that it was supported by a far more powerful force.

Her eyes widen as she stands up from her seat, “That was it! They were outnumbered because not all of the berserkers were there!” The three Alphas exchanged knowing looks, understanding Callista's thoughts. Transforming into their werewolf forms, they sprinted towards the cabin, sensing the imminent danger that had disrupted their connection earlier. (Marcus POV) We were both walking by the river hand to hand, just me and my silver rose. The woman I love and wanted to not only spend my life with, but to have my pups with. As we were walking, I watched her silver hair blowing into the wind, her pale porcelain skin glowing in the moonlight, and her musical laughter caressing my ears. Before I knew it, she let go of my hand and started to run ahead of me laughing as she looks back at me wanting me to chase her. I smiled as I started to chase my beautiful mate, but the more I chase the further she got from me until I no longer can see her. I stop to try and pick up her scent of Gardenia and vanilla, but not even a hint of it could be found.

“Hold this plate, I gotta go pee.” I headed upstairs to the second floor bathroom, took care of my business, washed my hands, and opened the door Only to find Derek standing in the hallway. His smirk sent a chill right down my spine. I tried to brush past him. “Excuse me.” But then I heard it gravelly low, under his breath, but clear enough to freeze me in place. “Damn, you got a nice ass. Can’t wait to fuck you.” I stopped cold and turned, just in time to see him lick his lips and walk into the bathroom like he hadn’t just said something disgusting and threatening.

“Are you guys ready to finally do as we were formed to do?” My eyes glared at Callighan as he lifted his head up to the sky. Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire. He fired a shot into the air which traveled into the berserker's throat. The berserker turned its attention to Lucian, his eyes glowing red with fury. The massive brute charged at the golden-haired man, his jaws snapping inches from the man's face. Lucian dodged with ease, slashing his sword down to sever the berserker's arm. Mason let out a howl of pain but didn't slow down, continuing to attack with reckless abandon. Distracted by Lucian he failed to notice the lycan beast which crept up behind him and plunged his fist with claws into the berserker's guts.

’ Once Fafnir saw the skylark being ridden by Marcia ascending over the top of the lava beetle, he roared, “Flip the beast over quickly, we must kill it and return to dispatch Telagus!” Realising he had lost Telagus’s location while being focused on the beetle, Rex did a quick scan, spying him within seconds, fighting a group of his soldiers to carve a path through the ranks of soldiers who attempted to cut off their retreat, ‘We are losing too many men while battling this thing, we have to make this quick!’
