Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

That's why I let my gaze wander in all directions while running down the path, for proles were masters at suddenly jumping out to secure their prey. We came to the fork that led to the Toboggan Hill and ran to the left to the slope when I saw something purple flashing in the undergrowth. "Right!" I shouted, Reese was already spun around. The bang reverberated in my ears, as did the thump the oryx made when it hit the ground. Reese had hit him in the neck and yet this beast got up again and ran with thundering hooves towards my teaching coach. He didn't hesitate for a moment, pulled the trigger again and this time it hit exactly between the eyes. Not even the most resilient descendant survive

The Path of No Return

The Path of No Return

In the process, he had forgotten that he had once loved me too. Hazily, I heard someone calling my name. When I snapped back to reality, I saw Dad plunging a dagger through his chest. Even so, he was smiling. Slowly, I, too, faded away, with nothing left to feel.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

Where he once stood was now cracked and bruised with a web of lines that ran across the ground. “Ah!” A Khan screamed, suddenly being torn in half, his blood sent asunder, his flesh shredded. A frightening chuckle rang throughout the courtyard, as though it was Death himself that overlooked the battlefield. The dead Khan’s body was held in the claws of a thinly built man, the aura around him vibrated and pulsed with glee. ‘Is this what Berserker Rage does to you?’ Zephyr thought, seeing the creature before him.

The Alpha's Plump Mistake

The Alpha's Plump Mistake

I bellowed — and let the silver take me. I spurred my mount and charged downhill, straight into the mire. The clash was butchery. My blade sheared through the first leviathan from spine to belly — black, acid‑blood hissing and smoking where it hit the snow. I hit the ground rolling, shifting, tearing through them with claw and steel — smashing armor, severing tentacles, crushing bone. The berserker fire wrapped me in heat that burned through the cold. Around me, the Northern line held — axes, spears, shields — a wall of flesh and iron, driving them back, meter by bloody meter.

Going Berserk After She Cursed Me With Her Lust

Going Berserk After She Cursed Me With Her Lust

I tore off the pearl earrings that Eric had given me as an engagement gift and tossed them into the trash can with a smile. At once, the heat in my body suddenly dissipated. I then quickly sent out a message on my phone. A number of the disgusting men then tried to pounce on me, but I was now fully sober, and I kicked them all to the ground one by one. They grabbed their crotches and howled in pain, their eyes filled with resentment as they glared at me.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

"I know." Reese lifted his leg and knocked my buttocks with his knee. I gave him a pat on the arm for it, but before we could really start fighting - not that we ever did - a man in his early thirties stepped out from between the cubicles and came up to us smiling. He wore glasses and had his hair cut so short that I couldn't tell whether it was dark blonde or brown. He seemed to have a slight posture, which he hunched a little, but wow, the muscles that were visible under his sweater certainly didn't come from chilling on the couch. "Hi." He nodded to me and held out his hand to Reese. "I'm Anton Faust and you have to be Reese Tack, the Venator from the guild in Berlin."

The owner of the book additionally instructed them on how to prepare for such a serious ritual, how to cleanse the room after it has been performed, so that nothing uninvited would remain in it. The woman also warned them to be careful, because by wanting to contact a particu

THE ALPHA'S ASSASSIN MATE

THE ALPHA'S ASSASSIN MATE

It painted a pale path straight to the dais, as if daring the defenders to step forward one last time. They didn’t step forward. They stood their ground. Serna exhaled once, slow. If this was their last night, she’d meet it with teeth bared. “For Ironfang,” she whispered. “For the Sleepers.” “For the wolves who never got to grow old.” The berserkers crashed into them again. Steel rang. Magic screamed. Bodies fell. And somewhere in the heart of the storm, Serna fought like a woman who had already died three times and refused to stay down any of them.
