The little dog wagged its tail, looking at her with round, adorable eyes. “Good morning, 23!” Mable picked it up and rubbed its fluffy head. “Why are you here? Where’s Blair?” 23 put its front paws on Mable’s arm, staring at her. “Come on, shake!” Mable reached her hand out, trying to get 23 to place its left paw in her palm. However, 23 was still young and had not been trained. It did not understand its owner’s command. It thought there might be a treat, so it immediately lowered its head to sniff.

“Beast is our weapons expert. If it’s guns you need, then he is your guy.” Gia popped her head around the door, scowling at the smartly dressed shifter. Blaze clung to her leg, peering around at Jaxton. “Uncle Jax, let’s play with the bike,” he chirped. Gia shook her head affectionately. “I ought to donkey punch you both in the dicks, getting my kid a motorcycle.” Jax picked Blaze up and threw him over his shoulder. We could hear Blaze’s giggling as Jax took him off to play.

I crossed the roadside quickly and crouched beside the overgrown grass, parting the leaves carefully with one hand. And even before I fully saw it, I already had a feeling. A beagle. Small. Curled tightly into itself beneath the bushes like it had been trying to disappear from the world. It wasn’t very big. Its fur was dirty and slightly matted in places, the white parts dulled gray beneath layers of dust and roadside grime. The dog’s body stayed curled tightly into itself, as though it had been trying to conserve the last bit of warmth it still had. Its breathing was so shallow I could barely see its chest move beneath the tangled fur.

I recruited a biological weapon of mass distraction. He was a Tibetan Mastiff puppy, a fluffy, oversized cloud of charcoal-colored fur named Bane. At ten weeks old, he already weighed thirty pounds and had the territorial instincts of a warlord. My plan was simple: win over Leo and Luna, and provide a distraction so loud and chaotic that no one would notice my beard peeling. I led Bane through the service entrance, the puppy’s giant paws thumping against the marble like muffled drums. "Luna! Leo!" I chirped, the Jean-Pierre accent back in full, grating force. "I have brought a small... eh... souvenir from ze mountains!"

Frowning Tiger crossed his swords to serve as a guard, as the gigantic paw of the excited Pseudo Legendary Class Magical Beast descended upon him. He didn’t have the speed of a Cheetah to evade the blow, and he didn’t have the flexibility of a Mongoose to narrowly avoid it either. He couldn’t conceal himself like a Snake so that the damned beast wouldn’t be able to find him. He was a Tiger. He wasn’t the strongest of the bunch, but his control was so great that he always knew just how much he needed to attack, and defend.

There were far more important things that he and Bert had to deal with back here. Crossing the border, I felt the wind howling. I led the squad forward, followed closely by the rest. No one knew what was in store for us. But we would not cower. Suddenly we spotted the rogue killing our cow. We rushed forward and tried to take it down. In the tense chase and fierce fit, I saw the courage and unity of our pack members. Inspired by them, I became even more valiant, determined to eliminate this threat to my pack. Finally, we arrested the rogue and sent him for trial.

he asked as he moved closer, his face filled with concern. “No,” she said, slowly pulling her hand back from his and hoping she didn’t offend him in the process. “Just… trying to figure out something for Joshua.” “His dad? Grandma?” Drew asked. “Any family in the area?” Trixie blinked repeatedly as she processed what he had said, then began to giggle before she pulled it together. Drew thinks Joshua is a child… “He’s my two-year-old beagle,” she explained. Drew grinned, and his smile lit up the green eyes she found irresistible.

She grabbed Beau's hand running over to the puppy area to look at puppies/dogs. They looked through the puppies/dogs seeing different breeds (such as Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherds, Pugs, French BullDogs, etc…). Marigold crouched down putting her finger up against the glass while a puppy tried to lick it. She looked up at Beau, standing next to her, and said, "Awe look how sweet he is." Beau crouched down looking at the puppy and said, "He is adorable. Do you like him?" She chuckled, saying, "I love all of them and wish I could keep every single one." Beau said, "Yeah about that… We…" She glanced behind her looking at the kittens, seeing a white kitten with one jade green eye a

The beeper goes off to signify a change in activities and she hops up full of newfound energy, smiling like she’s gotten away with something. She has. She didn’t complete one burpee, and I can’t very well punish her for it now. “Uhh…” she tilts her head, looking down at the knee height weaved mesh before trying to awkwardly find a way to crawl on top of it. My muscles ripple with the need to go over there and pluck her off, but the footsteps have stopped, and I’m all too aware of where he’s standing in the shadows watching us interact. “Under, Devlin,” I bark out with a tone that makes her tense and her cheeks grow pale.

Pooch was so excited to see Brady, he couldn’t help but laugh as the little guy squirmed in his arms and licked his face. He was glad he already had the leash attached to his collar so he could set him down. Even then, the dog jumped up and down, pawing at his leg, wanting so badly to have Brady’s full attention.
