His fur sizzled with smoke and a burnt patch of fur was under his jaw. He shook himself and the fur fell to the ground, turning to cinders. The pendant wouldn't let him touch it. His eyes glowed bright as he tried to heal the patch but it didn't work. He looked at me angrily and charged. He was faster than lightning– the Sapphire was enhancing his speed–and I had no idea when he smacked me with his paw. I felt a bone in my neck crack and I was on the floor. In a blur, all I could see were paws and claws going at my skin, tearing my fur and ripping my flesh.

The positioned station given to you should be your top priority right now.” She slowly walked away with a sound like a wolf's laugh, and I couldn't help but smirk. “It seemed like she enjoys taking risks.
