They’re scared too.” The other pups nod and close in around Paisley, bundling together in a four way hug. I was angry before, but now those two idiots had gone and endangered my pup. I didn’t intend to shift when I went back storming into the penthouse, but I blinked and suddenly I was on all fours. Charging inside, I jumped straight into the melee, forcing myself between the two men.

Packmates stumble back. My wolf pops to her feet and crouches over the pup, hiding her, growling and snapping until the circle around her clears. She catches sight of Alroy’s flaming tomato face, and she lets out a snarl so furious that it scrapes her throat. He frightened the pup. He’s the threat. Kill him.

◇DON POV◇ I was angry on myself for shouting on her I don't know why I'm becoming like this I was never interested to hurt her but ended up scaring her twice I can see the fear in her eyes clearly I always wished those eyes to look at me with care but today I made those eyes to look at me with fear she is the only one who is not scared of me she treats me like I'm normal not unlike others who thinks of me as a beast but what I did I behaved like a beast

She's stomping her feet on the ground when she heard a faint growl. Her heartbeat increased as paranoia kicked in. Patricia gulped, sweat starting to show on her forehead. Another growl, this time, louder. When Patricia turned around slowly, she saw a large, gray wolf looking intensely at her. Its sharp teeth baring at her, ready to pounce. Patricia took a step back, but when the gray wolf leaned like it was about to attack, Patricia froze on the spot. "Good doggie, hehe!" Patricia tried to calm the wolf down, even though her whole body was shaking. But the wolf growled louder.

Or treasure. Or stealing spoons. She looked scared. Actually scared. Then she whispered: "Storm bad?" Lily swallowed. Then knelt beside her. And hugged her. "A little." Peanut wrapped her tiny arms around Lily. Tightly. Then Lily realized something. Peanut trusted her. Completely. That thought terrified her. Because suddenly she wanted to protect everyone. Peanut. Ava. The puppies. Everyone. Outside— the wind screamed. Then another crash echoed through the house.

"Daddy?" Luna climbed into my lap during one of these moments. "Why do you and Mommy look so sad?" "Just tired, baby." I hugged her tight. "Lots of Alpha work to do." "The bad wolves are coming again." Aiden said matter-of-factly. "We can feel it. Through the pack bonds. Everyone's scared." Kids. Too perceptive for their own good. "We're handling it. You don't need to worry." "But we want to help." Luna's little hand gripped my shirt. "We're strong. We can fight."

He growled loudly, alerting them about his presence. Patrick and George both jumped with fright and turned to face David. Even though David is in his human form and they are in their wolf form, they are still terrified of his presence. David's reputation is bad. He is known to be cruel and heartless. So just the sight of him terrified them. Before David could do anything to scare them off, they took off running in the direction of their pack, leaving Riley's father behind. David smirked with satisfaction.

What scared Birdpaw the most was running into a dog that might be running loose. "Wait." One of the ThunderClan cats stopped in their tracks. "I thought I heard a dog barking." Birdpaw stiffened at the sound as she realized they were right. She had never encountered a dog before in her life, but she had heard plenty of stories about them. A few heartbeats passed as the group came to a stop and listened to the intense volley of barks. Birdpaw kept still as stone as she listened, and than heard a Twoleg shouting in the distance. Soon enough, the barking died down, and Birdpaw let out a sigh of relief.

Charlotte wasn't one of them and I found myself disappointed by that. "You may pass, of course," he said, "but no pets allowed." Galleytrot growled, the most menacing sound I'd ever heard. Green power flowed down the length of him, rippling his fur. His huge eyes flared with red power as he seemed to grow and fill out, becoming the black dog of the Wild Hunt. He scared the crap out of me and he was my friend.

He was shaking furiously. He was very angry and I was too scared. Too scared to talk because if I did a river-no not just a river but a dam- will broke. I was scared because he might harm me especially now that his eyes were almost black, the color of a dark night. I made a distance between us as he continue to shake like he was turning into a werewolf. My hand darted to my head as a piercing sound broke on my throat. I was screaming because of the pain in my head.
