Skylar's POV Bang! I smashed my palm against the steering wheel once more. I'd been trying to share this information across the internet since several hours back but it wouldn't let me. It was a photo of Skylar trying to con her way into being mates with two different werewolves, reportedly Alphas. Though the picture that displayed the three of them were photoshopped, I knew her ass would be exposed pretty soon. I sighed in victory as I slipped out my phone again, aiming to retry my luck.

"Killed? He was murdered by you and Kian! You both don't deserve to live. After what his pack did to me and my family, you're fucking him and carrying his baby with not an ounce of shame or guilt. Hail the fucking Luna Queen!" Skylar used to be one of my favorite people. She was the female version of Wyatt. Strong, determined, and beautiful. I hold many wonderful memories of her from the time we became friends and when we were both pregnant. Losing her baby must have broken her heart and left her vengeful. I couldn't blame her for that. "What makes you think you deserve a happy ending?" She turned to one of the men standing behind her. "Seize the baby and kill her in front of this traitor."

"Who's kicking Skye out of the company?!" I froze, stunned for a moment. 'Old Mr. Fraser?!'

"You hunt the weak for sport. You break people for fun. What makes you any different?" His jaw tightened, a flicker of anger flashing in his eyes. "And you," I said, turning to Skylar. My lips curled in pure disgust as I stared her down. "You're nothing but a raging psychopath on a leash, desperate for scraps of Zane's attention. Do you even have a shred of self-respect? Or is your whole personality just being his deranged little lapdog?" Skylar growled, her body coiling as if ready to lunge at me, but Zane grabbed her arm, holding her back.

“Sorry for the pain we caused you. Thank you for saving my children. I owe you one.” He patted his fist on his right chest, and I smiled. My heart jolted. “It's my pleasure, sir. My name is Skai.” Skai Collins. My lips pressed shut. I wanted to bear Skai again. The worst had happened, Tillard knew. And for the real time, Skai died in his presence. Not the first time when he just heard because the brothel owner didn't want him to get her killed. She couldn’t say I escaped.

Drake demanded. Emily gave a small shake of her head. "I won't look." "Come on, Emily," he said as she looked at him. Always keep in mind that the alpha is a werewolf with a short fuse. Leia recited the line in her head. "No, Leia, you need to be quiet. " Just get out of my head and quit reading that book already!" She growled at her wolf companion.

I was impatient, what was she trying to do, “If you want to speak then speak but if you don’t then don’t waste my time.” I put my hand on the doorknob, “You mustn’t tell anyone,” I removed my hand again, “You won’t even be able to do that,” Diana stood up and walked around me in circles, “Skylar has two sisters, Aurora her younger sister and Serena, sorry, Ava her twin sister.” “What?” Was this lunatic trying to mess with my head, “They are both wolves and Skylar was a witch.”

I can never understand how that can get her to become calm. "Did you see that?" Skylar suddenly ask. The fear in her voice prompted me to raise my head and looked outside the window but no matter how hard I look, there was nothing there. "What is it Skylar?" Mom had parked but left the car engine on. "I don't know, but I am certain I just saw a big animal, too big to be called a dog but I doubt... I mean I don't know." Skylar sounded really shaken up so I didn't doubt she might have been telling the truth.

"Drink, dance, and party all night, Alarick. Soon, you'll be begging me to give you back your little Luna. I scuff as I see Skylar and his mate sitting at a table nearby. So they are friends. I should have known. No wonder he wasn't hesitant to help their pack the last time I tried to attack them. "We'll just have to see who is more resilient, little Ricky. You... Or me?"
