A driver in a grey suit steps out, rounds the hood, and opens the rear passenger door. The cheerful noise reaches a crescendo—then cuts off abruptly, leaving behind complete, breathless silence. A tall, broad-shouldered Black priest steps onto the gravel, holding a thick leather Bible and an exorcist's crucifix. His gaze moves over the crowd, then settles on the church doors. He studies them a moment too long. Then his eyes return to us. He’s striking. Piercing, narrow eyes sweep over the crowd as if they can read every sin carved into our bones. His short, wavy hair is styled like the rappers whose music we secretly pass around at school.

It was as if she read my mind. Scared to show too much reaction to her comment I just subtly nodded. “Doesn’t it bother you?” She asked quite bluntly and once again I was impressed with her boldness. Now do not waste my time!", He gave the priest who shook his head in denial. "Oh you won't. I hoped it would come to this". The Scourge signaled his followers who brought one of the monks forward and snapped his neck in front of the Priest who was now reciting the Lord's prayer loud like his life depended on it.

" Blaze confessed downing his beer. "You and me both!" Ryker said as he grabbed two more beers. "So rain is the healer, and Storm can read minds.. what do you..." but before he could finish Blaze said, "Oh not only can he read minds but he can see what they are thinking too!" Blaze said. Chris Jnr’s lips curled up “The priest taught us that Lord has advised us that we must treat others like how we expect them to treat us.” Everyone in the room was wise; they knew exactly what the little devil meant. Although they didn’t praise him verbally, their lips curled up in appreciation. “The medicine…” Night Blade spoke for the first time since they entered the room. “I have my ways.” Chris Jnr smiled sweetly before he crawled out of Chris’s embrace and walked over to Neil who was standing along with Adrian behind the Walter and Burke brothers “Godfather, surely you can get me some of that potion, can’t you?”

"Welcome, Big Kai," the priest said with a tiny smile as his eyes moved to me. He is a tall young priest who looks like he could be around Big Kai's age. I don't know his age.

“You were there on the night of the attack.” The priest returns to his human form and claps his hands. “You figured it out.” Hayley is wounded, she returns to her human form panting and breathing hard. “Why? Our leader trusts you.” “He’s a fool. You’re all dogs and easy to manipulate.” the priest blots out with resentment in his voice. “I told you he is a scumbag.” Hayley coughs.
