Neo Manila: Rise of the New Gods

Neo Manila: Rise of the New Gods

Suddenly the door opened and out came an elderly man, whom he guessed was their leader. He was an impressive-looking man despite his advanced age. He wore more ornate gold jewelry, an elaborate golden putong that had colorful feathers attached, and a collarless sleeve doublet of fine gold-colored linen. His bahag, also of the same gold linen, overlapped into a longer piece in the middle which hung to his knees. He had long white hair, tough wrinkly skin, and a slightly bent spine. He had an air of high status and nobility. He looked like a tarnished golden sculpture of a forgotten god from an ancient time. He learned later that his name was Datu Cilapulapu, the village chieftain of Opong.

Protect and Serve

Protect and Serve

She recognized Monique, who was on her knees on a pillow nearby, and her look could only be described as envious. Kneeling next to her was another blond Caucasian male who was so Aryan it was almost scary. He was six feet tall and trim, more toned than muscled. He was dressed in black leather from his boots to his pants to his vest. Under the vest was a white silk shirt that would've looked at home at a renaissance fair, and an iron collar. Next to him was a Hispanic man who should have been on a Mexican soap opera. He had the "come-hither" eyes and pouty lips and everything. All he had on was a pair of leather shorts and an iron collar.

My Royal Sweetheart

My Royal Sweetheart

Ceva nodded. "Balkrav must resemble Auon. A few cities with nomadic clans moving between them," though Akana contentedly, but also noticed Ceva doesn't seem to describe the clans as merchants but more like bandits. He was just about to ask when an older man arrived and faced the class. He had close-cropped, curly, dark brown hair with marvelous green eyes, which presently perused the class. He had no wrinkles, but Akana determined that he was over thirty years of age at least. He had a wide face with a sharp chin and aquiline nose. The eyes were sharp but radiated intelligence. He wore a golden embodied, dark red tunic with a toga atop the tunic. The man was also decorated in several golden

Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

If looked carefully, the man seemed to have had plastic surgery. So there should be a bigger scar on his face before. Looking at it this way, it was somewhat proof of what Miss Yu had said before she entered the room. He had a hard horoscope. However, those who had a hard horoscope should have a murderous or resolute temperament. This person's temperament was not like that of a cook with a knife, but like an artist with a pen. Looking at his clothes, he should be able to afford the land here. He also received the high officials and noble lords, but he wore ordinary clothes and an old gray vest on the outside of a white shirt, especially the vest, which seemed to have been worn for many years

none of the books I'm reading are updating...(3) and will be reluctant to start another,, and 2 that do usually update of the 3 more frequent as the one which is not at all, only allows minimal time to read..less than an actual chapter, they act like its a few when still on same scenario and events.

The Shambala Chronicles

The Shambala Chronicles

Maya admired herself in the mirror. "This would do," she said to herself. She was dressed in a crop top and a voluminous skirt leaving her midriff bare. That was the normal peasant dress in Kusasthali. She had tied her hair in two braids with ribbons in it. As directed by Prahsatha she covered herself in a cloak. The wagon jostled down the cobbled road towards Kasul. "Is it a big city?" Maya asked her friends.

The first chapter actually took me back in history about what crime used to take place. I am thankful to god that this world is better comparatively. but we still have lot to improve. Any way I must appreciate writer to bring that type of feeling in the hearts of reader. keep writing.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Toph had a slightly red face from drinking. He danced and laughed with the Baker men, who were also dressed in traditional kilts. Zuko's eyes widened in surprise. The Baker kids had studied in Zkotland and were familiar with the local customs. In Zkotland, men wore kilts characterized by large tartan patterns in bright colors. With the voluminous pleats, Toph became the most eye-catching figure at the entire wedding! While this was normal in Zkotland, it seemed unconventional to the other guests.

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.
Sharon
I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Dark Below

The Dark Below

He has a face of distaste. The king’s right hand lingers upon one side of the suit. His fingers begin to travel downward along the cloth. He takes his time to feel the craftsmanship that it must have taken to piece together this outfit of the evening, even so, he still can taste the foul stench of being with lesser human beings themselves. Quickly, he pulls his hand away and scoffs at the idea of wearing such a thing. “Do those peasants expect me to wear this?” Richard’s words come out brash and vile as ever like he is spitting on his lesser. Leona gives her own small huff out of annoyance from her son. She slowly gets up and moves over to him like a serpent stalking its prey. The dark heels

His Magic Luna

His Magic Luna

I am so hungry. “Yes?” He asks, grabbing one himself. “I don’t have a costume.” I say, and he smiles, while walking to the closet. He comes out with his own costume and underwear, laying it on the bed. Then he goes back to the closet, while I keep munching on food. He comes back out with another costume; the dress is dark purple, and the stockings are black. The dress has that princess feel over it, with a sweetheart neckline and lots of puff. He then goes back in a third time, and comes back out with three boxes.

Slave to the Wolf King

Slave to the Wolf King

Even Ghere was dressed up, his thinning hair pulled back into a tight ponytail at the nape of his neck, and his slender build enhanced by the trim-fitting, well tailored clothes. Rake turned from talking to him when we walked in, and his eyes lit up. He beamed at Cazz and I, and hurried his long legs eating up the space and his hair slicked back too, though it wasn’t long enough to tie back, so a handful of strands fell over his forehead and eyes. He was dressed in incredible linen garb—long, loose white trousers that swung when he walked, a long, pullover tunic that fell almost to his knees and was embroidered around his neck in gold thread. A gold sash fell across his chest and looped from

Love this book and this author! The story is action packed from the beginning. The main characters, Casimir and Jesse are well developed and fascinating to watch both their love and their conflict grow! You won’t want to stop reading the story, but will want to read it all from beginning to end!

honestly one of the best stories on this site. i don’t understand how it’s not at the top of the lists. it’s original, descriptive, the characters are well fleshed out and multi-faceted. the love scenes aren’t cringe inducing teen fantasy garbage. i haven’t read her bother stories but will now

In search of true heart

In search of true heart

As night fell, Rajeev and his friends arrived at the Kullu Valley, greeted by the rhythmic beats of traditional drums and the vibrant energy of the local festival. The valley was alive with color and movement, a feast for the senses that immediately drew them in. In the center of the festivities, a group of dancers performed the traditional Nati dance. The men wore distinctive costumes made of wool and silk, their chudidars and kurtas adorned with intricate embroidery in bright reds, yellows, and greens. Their heads were topped with Himachali caps, adding an extra flair to their appearance. The women, equally resplendent, wore long, flowing skirts called ghaghras, paired with vibrant cholis
