Mated to Another

Mated to Another

Delila stares towards the foyer as well, following my gaze. I watch as Ciro along with his female Milena walk out of the packhouse. He is dressed in our traditional attire, which consists of a white shirt, black slacks, and a sleeveless coat known as a jeleks. He looks as dashing as ever, and Milena, she looks like a Goddess in those traditional clothing of ours. She is dressed in a black flowing skirt plaited in embroidered linen, with tkanice wrapped around her waist serving as a belt. Her waist is wrapped with an apron designed especially for a Luna, adorned and hand embroidered with floral motifs. The Luna embroiders the apron for her successor herself. The blouse she is wearing is in th

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

It was a common stop for soldiers, workmen, state officials, and travelers alike. Eliezer looked now upon the man they had sent to Elkshire as the region’s representative. He was lean and well above the average height. He was young, ruddy, and handsome. His skin was nicely tanned with reddish hue. His dark hair was short and fashionably styled. He wore a gaudy white tunic with gold trim accompanied by pants and shoes to match it, along with dark glasses which wrapped his narrow face and covered his eyes with reflections of gold.

Lycan King's Cursed and Rejected Mate

Lycan King's Cursed and Rejected Mate

When the door opened, my eyes widened with surprise at the group of men who entered. Eleven of them were dressed exactly as Tobias told me to expect. They were in rough-hewn leather tunics, primitive jewellery made of bone and stone, and cloaks crafted from animal pelts. They looked like they'd stepped out of a museum exhibit on prehistoric civilisations, except for the unmistakable aura of power that surrounded them. The twelfth man, standing closest to Kael, looked completely different. He looked like he'd stepped off the cover of a magazine. He seemed to be around the same age as Kael. His dark hair was perfectly styled, and he wore an expensive designer suit that probably cost more than

The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

Just because everything in sight was covered in gold leaf didn't mean they were decent people. Slowly, he walked back towards her, and Octavia's breath caught in her throat as she took in that strong figure once more. Sandy blonde hair piercing green eyes and a tan as deep as summer hay. He wore rough workers boots and heavy linen trousers. Working outdoors, directing his team of labourers, he wore a simple thick white shirt, open in a v-shape. In his haste to leave, he had not fully fastened it and she could see his sweat-dampened chest hair.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!

Let's Pretend (book 1)

Let's Pretend (book 1)

The sight of the rider left her speechless and a bit weak at the knees. His rugged appearance shocked her, his strength evident in his muscled arms and legs. Rather than the fancy clothes of the English gentry, the beige shirt and brown leather vest of a farmer’s attire stretched taut across his wide chest, and the black material of his trousers molded to his legs and fit snugly into his black knee-boots. But this man was no farmer. That much appeared evident by the way he carried himself as he strode toward her, his step too confident, too graceful.

Barbarian's Rejected Luna

Barbarian's Rejected Luna

My eye did a quick work of finding the leader of this notorious lot. He was wearing a white shirt, breeches, and coat. I had always seen him in his traditional clothes. Seeing him not draped in animal fur was a new experience for me. The coat stretched tautly over his broad shoulders. The fabric of his breeches snuggled closely to his thick thighs and other parts. It seemed if he stretched even a little the fabric would tear off.

Really great story but the constant typos and weird grammar spoils the flow. Strong FL. Some drama about the war, witch and William would have made the story more interesting though as there is no epic climax but just a sweet, quite ending. Please get your story edited

To live or to love

To live or to love

He was lost in thought, taking in the majestic scenery around him. He wore a flowing tunic made of rich, deep blue fabric that fell to his knees. The tunic was embroidered with gold thread, displaying intricate designs that signified his royal status. The fabric was light and airy, allowing him to move with ease in the warm afternoon sun. Underneath the tunic, he wore a white, high-collared shirt that was neatly tucked into his black trousers. The trousers were made of the finest wool, hugging his legs and accentuating his muscular physique.

Return of the Prodigious Son

Return of the Prodigious Son

"Sister Jin, where are you going?" His voice was very magnetic. It was a young man's voice, and he called Hua Jin Sister Jin affectionately. Zhou Tian immediately looked down and saw three people walking over from the river. Two of them were wearing the costume of a domestic servant from ancient times. The one in the middle was very handsome and looked dignified. He was dressed in a refined ancient robe, with a jade belt tied to his waist and a folding fan waving. He stopped less than five meters away from Zhou Tian and the others.

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

As the corrompido archers return fire, small fire starts in isolated patched and smoke rises in grey columns. Back in the Estate, Sol dragged the man out of the pantry, through the kitchen and hallway to the living area. Leo and Cassandra followed the commotion. Sol stopped in front of Luz and let the servant go. “He said they are in the cathedral,” Sol said quickly. Luz scanned the terrified servants face, kneeled on the floor. He is a young man with messy brown hair partially hidden beneath a worn cloth cap. His face is pale and strained, his wide eyes glistening as he stares upward toward Luz. Deep worry lines crease his brow. He wears simple peasant clothing; a loose beige linen shirt st

Curse of the Moon

Curse of the Moon

"Mesehlim atu, Rahi. Aida taw-ed mer kaasi asshik mek'nar aiti." "May moon bless you as well, Rahi. Forgive my brazen tongue." He sat on the chair laguidly. His legs were widespread, and arms were rested firmly on the sides of his wooden carved chair. He claims his place as if it was rightfully his, dominating every space and almost sneering to those who stands before his equally brutal eyes. He wore nothing to cover his chest, exposing the markings by the ink. The wooven fabric of his breeches in patterns of red and brown was tightly tied below his abdomen extending below his knees. He wore a belt of golden chains and a skirt of plain wool. His garments were far from modest compared to the
