The Alpha's Redemption
The sun was rising—not the muted, grayish light we had grown accustomed to, but a radiant, golden dawn.
Gasps erupted from the crowd, followed by cries of joy. The villagers fell to their knees, some weeping openly. The light spread quickly, bathing the land in vibrant hues of green and gold. Flowers bloomed where there had been only dirt, and the once withered trees reached skyward as if awakening from a long slumber.
“It’s the Queen,” someone whispered, their voice trembling with awe.
“She’s brought back the sun!” another cried.
I stopped in my tracks, overwhelmed by the scene unfolding around me. The warmth of the sun touched my skin, filling me with a strength I hadn’t known before.
