"We can start in your company," he suggested. Cadmus huffed and straightened his back. His eyes started throwing daggers back at Percival's. "What are you? Her lapdog?" Cadmus snarled. I guess it’s time to battle. “You know that I wasn’t always like this.” Hades says conversationally as he easily swipes Toby’s blade away. “I once loaned my helmet to Perseus to defeat Medusa. You would think that it would give me some brownie points. Alas, it didn’t.” I came up to battle him as soon as he finished his sentence. I don’t care that he loaned his invisibility helmet. I care about my mate and queen. I swirl my sword as a way to distract him. His eyes lit up in humor.
