The smile vanished from his face. “Peri?” Beryl called out, worried. “I’m okay,” Peri said faintly, lifting his hand and looking up. “I just get short of breath when I talk too long or laugh too hard.” Concern crossed Beryl’s face. She sat beside her twin and embraced her tightly. “Promise me… you won’t leave me. Let’s grow up together. Go to school together. I won’t fight you anymore when you don’t want to play. Cali is about to say cut, but he did not expect Perci to obey the script literally. She remained frozen when Perci touched her nape and savored her lips. A butterfly on her stomach is hard to control as Perci started roaming inside her mouth. She asked herself, why can't she push him away? "Arf! Arf! Arf!" Perree barked and bit Perci's sweatpants. "I didn't say his name," Percy stopped, his eyes held mine in a locked question and he didn't say anything for a moment. ”We have to hurry.” Percy said. The fact that Percy was worried freaked me out. I had never heard of this Alpha Damien, only the little that Sam had told me but I was guessing that Percy had a better picture of who Alpha Damien was.

Percy whispered, and surprisingly, Ares obliged the charade, blowing at the sand. "Thanks, Perry." He smiled, petting Percy on the head. Percy smirked happily, leaning his head in for more pets.
