"You’re not wrong," Gerard admitted with a smirk. "So," Christopher said, stretching lazily in his chair. "What about you, Phoenix? What have you been doing besides getting kicked out of various countries?" Phoenix grinned, "I resent that. I have not been kicked out of all the countries. Some of them invite me back just to make sure I leave again." The boys chuckled, and Phoenix launched into a wildly animated story about "accidentally" crashing a yacht party in Santorini and being mistaken for a tech billionaire's girlfriend.

“Did your mother tell you the origin of your birth?” Phoenix shrugged. “She did vaguely tell me that I have the power of gods running through my veins but I don’t think she knows about me anymore than I do.” She sighed as she drew her leg to her chest. “If I indeed have the blood of gods in my veins should I not he respected and loved by the people?”

Phoenix said. I raised an eyebrow. “You mean the ones that raised a mob and tried to kill us?” I asked. “Oh.” Phoenix said. The smile immediately left his face. It looked like he forgot the event that happened just a few days ago. But he recovered after that. “I know that they weren’t exactly nice to us, but there are still good humans.” Phoenix still tried to convince me. I shook my head with a faint humorless smile. “There’s no need to convince me of anything. I already know how humans only steal, kill and destroy. They only act good when they don’t know what you are.” I said. Phoenix was silent after that. “It’s okay. I think we should rest now.”

I wasn't sure were to look but I had chosen to move from here because I thought Phoenix must be attracted somehow to fire, they could burn themselves and be rebirth through their ashes then they wouldn't be scared of fire, would they? If my thoughts were right then they must nest around volcanoes or fire lavaes. But... but legends also said they nested in rarer sanctuaries.
