VESPERA

VESPERA

Ezekiel purposely kept his eyes ahead and his hands were on the wheel at precisely ten and two, the way a man holds something when he is trying very hard to be controlled about it. His knuckles had gone white somewhere around the third traffic light. Vespera on the other hand sat with her head turned toward the window. She watched the city in a way that she wasn't really seeing it. If anything, her mind was in a different reality as her vision blurred. She had been in this position before and she remembered being exceptionally happy about it. But now...even this moment felt extremly intolerable for her. Her mind was pretty messed up right now and she just needed a chance to teleport back to

Chains Of The Heart

Chains Of The Heart

Just a broken prophet murmuring to the empty air. "That's tragic. That's tragic. That's tragic." Nathan stepped forward slowly. "Ezekiel?" The prophet didn't respond. Didn't even seem to hear. Nathan took another step. Then another. He was close enough to touch when Ezekiel finally moved. His head lifted. His eyes—gods, his eyes—were wrong. Too wide. Too dark. Like someone had poured the cave's shadows directly into them. His lips moved, forming words that might have been prayers or curses or both.

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Whenever I looked around, I kept seeing the visions from my lave tet. So, against Mikael's judgment, I got up to leave. But my body slammed into a firm chest before I could do so. Hezekiah stared down at me with a stern expression, his eyes so bright they looked like brimstone. I didn't know how to react when I saw him. I thought that I was dreaming—I thought that everything, from the moment Sajida laid me down to rest during the lave tet, was a dream my body was refusing to wake up from. So, seeing Hezekiah rendered me speechless.

Sold To Alpha Ezekiel

Sold To Alpha Ezekiel

Time warped in this place. The door creaked open. I froze. Ezekiel stepped inside, the firelight painting his face in harsh gold and black. He didn’t speak at first. He didn’t come to me. He simply sat in a carved chair near the bed, his broad frame sinking into the shadows. And watched. Every breath I drew, I felt the weight of his gaze on my chest. Every shift of my body beneath the blankets, I felt the brush of his eyes against my skin. He sat like a predator guarding prey — patient, absolute, inevitable.

Tales of a Shifter (P1) - Meeting

Tales of a Shifter (P1) - Meeting

or in tremendous pain. But the strangest thing in this manage of wrongness was that the mortals eyes, though, dulled with terror and pain....were wide open. Cool green as they had been in the dark forest they still drew Ezekiels eyes. Not unlike two pools of glistening ocean water, they stared unseeing and up at some unknowable nightmare that only he could see. This was the first time that Ezekiel had seen the mortal cleaned and without blood and dirt all over his face. And Ezekiel was struck with the first clean washed view of the mortals face. It was a handsome face.....some would have even called him beautiful.

Sold to the Alpha King

Sold to the Alpha King

She began to understand why men and women who feared such power would do anything to stop it from coming to pass. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness slammed into her, as if the air had turned thick. She shut her eyes, the book sliding from her hands onto the table with a dull thump. Colors burst behind her eyelids, and then she saw it—a vision burning bright in her mind: Ezra standing in a courtyard at twilight, his sword drawn, warriors battling all around.

Alphas obsession: beg for your mate

Alphas obsession: beg for your mate

Ezekiel's POV My eyes fluttered open as I stared at the blue skies. It was a sunny afternoon and I was somewhere in the woods, in between life and death, as deep groans erupted from a close range. I jerked back to my feet, my eyes wandering around the woods, checking for the possible way out of here. I ran as fast as my legs could take when I spotted two distinct red eyes on a large rogue. It was definitely coming for me again.

THE ALPHA’S RELUCTANT BRIDE

THE ALPHA’S RELUCTANT BRIDE

Then her eyes closed shut, and sleep took over her. Ezekiel sat there for a very long time, feeling silent and filled with thought. The candlelight in the room flickers over his face, revealing the worry that fell deep into his expression. He looked toward the door where faint footsteps passed by…, the guards changing their duty post.. for the next shift. He didn’t know what to believe anymore. But one thing was clear to him, something had shifted since the night at the ruins forest, something that wasn't earthly or ordinary.

Rogue Alpha And The Slave Luna

Rogue Alpha And The Slave Luna

(Ezekiel's POV) My heart thudded really swift and heavy, the sound reached my eardrums. The moment that little girl, my mate, showed me her neck for me to "eat her", I found myself getting out of control, especially Cadis who resided within me.

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

Ezekiel placed the bronze mirror upright at the entrance of the formation and said, "Thea, once you enter the gate, carefully observe your reflection in the bronze mirror. If you notice any changes in your appearance, you must remember to come back..." Ezekiel gave many instructions to Thea, and she remembered them all. As Ezekiel placed all those gadgets on the long table into the formation, he muttered a few words under his breath. All those gadgets merged seamlessly with the formation, and the lines on the formation gradually widened and extended, becoming a network of fortresses. The green objects slowly grew taller and transformed into towering trees, eventually expanding into a forest.

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books
SillyRabbit
This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

The first thing that strikes me in Ezekiel chapter 4 is how theatrical the whole scene is — it reads like a prophetic performance art piece designed to make people stop scrolling and actually pay attention.

Ezekiel is told to lie on his left side for 390 days and on his right for 40, bound with cords, which scholars usually understand as a symbolic bearing of Israel’s and Judah’s iniquities. Those odd numbers feel huge, and many interpreters read them as years (390 and 40) representing long periods of national unfaithfulness and the coming punishment. The prophet also makes a brick into a model of a besieged city and acts out the siege: he rationed his food and water, baked bread over what’s described as defiled fuel, and performed hair-cutting rituals where some hair is burned, struck, and scattered. Each move dramatizes elements of siege — famine, warfare, death, and deportation.

Why all this? The signs give a visual, embodied sermon that words alone might not deliver. In an oral and communal culture, shock tactics like these were memorable and persuasive: they warn of judgment, make the abstract horror of exile concrete, and force the audience to reckon with consequences. There’s also a pastoral angle — the prophet bears the people’s guilt publicly, calling them to face their choices. Reading it today, I can’t help but think of modern activists using spectacle to draw attention; Ezekiel is doing much the same, only with prophetic weight and theological urgency.
