His clenched fists finally relaxed, and he turned to the door before walking out.
Everything Zach had depended on these past few days had finally collapsed, leaving nothing but ruins behind.
Wade watched Zach leave, saying nothing other than hugging the urn even tighter.
I looked at my hands. They were starting to fade at the edges.
Wade's tears fell on the urn, and I could somehow feel the warmth.
I floated to his ear and whispered, "Bury me under that tree by the door, Wade. I'll stay with you. So… Don't be sad anymore, okay?"
