Poe Blood-filled Vessel Novels & Stories

murmured Alexis asked in a whisper in her voice. Adrian opened his eyes slowly. "So much. Venom and also the vampire's blood are like two combinations that are very ready to destroy you from the inside of your body. Vampire blood will burn the blood cells that flow in our bodies slowly. And vampire venom will move to replace every organ cell in our body. Venom vampire will saturating our cells.” "Then... what happens after the venom and vampire’s blood are in your body?" Alexis asked again slowly. She couldn't be too demanding for an answer, it was just that more and more questions were popping up in her mind. And Alexis couldn't stop herself at all from asking Adrian there.

Lira (POV) We crash into the open chamber like spilled blood. The heart of the Pit. The place it was bleeding us toward all along. The ceiling arches high and black overhead, hung with chains and carcasses that sway in the fetid, breathless air. The floor is a cracked, rotten mosaic of bone and blood. In the center, a pool. Not water. Not blood. Something thicker. Darker. Alive. And around it? Figures. Dozens of them.

Aurora’s P.O.V Lucas's voice rose in a low, guttural chant, each word curling in the air like tendrils of dark energy, wrapping themselves around the room. Then Harmona joined him, her voice softer but no less potent. She lifted the colander high, and the thick crimson liquid sloshed within it, reflecting the dim light with an ominous sheen. The sight of my own blood swirling in that vessel sent a fresh wave of dread rolling through me, but the real horror was the sun—partially eclipsed, casting long, eerie shadows that flickered along the walls like ghosts waiting to pounce.

It turned out that people like them eventually meet someone worse. I lowered the brim of my cap and turned to leave, not wanting to be recognized. However, fate has a twisted sense of humor. My leather shoe stepped on a dry leaf. Crunch. Brian's head snapped up. Our eyes met. His eyes went wide. Like he had seen a ghost. Or a savior. "Bro?!" That single shout drew everyone's attention. My dad looked up, too, a flicker of light in his eyes. "Chester… Chester!"

Third-person POV The sub-level tunnels had become a slaughterhouse of desperation and steel. Every foot gained cost blood, bone, and the last scraps of sanity. Vorathian shock troops, clad in matte-black armor, merged with palace-loyalist guards in crimson-edged plate, pouring through the narrow root-stone passages like a tide of knives. Plasma bolts lit the darkness in violet streaks, ricocheting off ancient wards and turning the air into a storm of sparks and screams. The scent of scorched flesh and ozone hung thick, mixing with the metallic tang of fresh blood that pooled in the grooves of the floor and ran in rivulets down the glowing veins of the walls.

Declan stands motionless by the floor-to-ceiling window, the neon glow of the city bleeding across the hardwood like liquid gold, painting his silhouette in flickering light. His shirt hangs loose, the fabric clinging to the damp heat of his skin, sleeves pushed up to reveal the corded muscle of his forearms. The faintest sheen of sweat glistens along his collarbone, catching the light as his chest rises and falls with controlled restraint. His jaw is set, a muscle ticking beneath the stubble, his shoulders taut with something raw and unspoken. I can see the pulse hammering at the base of his throat, the way his fingers flex at his sides, as if fighting the urge to reach for me.

**Kelly Thompson's POV** The venom isn't poison-it's a *conduit*. It slithers through my veins like liquid static, stitching itself to the storm's ghost still buried in my bones. Every heartbeat fractures the world: frozen forest, gold-tinged battlefield, derelict chapel where the Weaver stitches stars into a child's skin. Eden's voice wavers in and out, human and raw, his hands gripping my shoulders as he shouts words drowned by the snow's howl. The ground melts and refreezes in jagged spirals, obeying the fevered rhythm of my pulse.

I summoned a soft flame—silver-blue, gentle, flickering like moonlight—and held it in my palm. We moved deeper. The walls were covered in veins of black glass—smooth and reflective, like they’d once been molten. The path narrowed, then widened again into a chamber. And in the center stood a figure. Not alive. Not dead. It was a shell—stone and bone fused, shaped like a man, but hollow. A vessel. “What is that?” Kael whispered. “One of their anchors,” I said. “A conduit for blood magic.” Lira knelt beside it. “It's not active.”

He observed carefully and finally discovered something. It turned out that the blood wisps, which were as thin as hair and which made up the blood cocoon, were not concrete. Instead, they were extremely delicate tubes, wrapping around the white bones. At the same time, they were all seeping into the sea of blood. The shimmer that flashed was not light, but some strange substance in the crimson tubes, which was absorbed from the sea of blood. It was constantly being transmitted into the blood cocoon... Ding Hao was greatly shocked.

Zoe’s hand trembled as she held the pendant in front of her, the vial inside now fully visible. The cool glass was small, but it held something powerful - something ancient. Her heart raced as she carefully removed the vial from its delicate casing. The blood inside was a deep, dark crimson, swirling with a strange, almost hypnotic energy. Zoe could feel the pull of it, the lure, the hunger.
