Poe Blood-filled Vessel Novels & Stories

The blood on the steel was still warm. Kael’s blood. She had harvested it from the stone walkway where she’d braced his collapsing body. It was thick and dark, carrying the overwhelming scent of Rain and Pine—now soured by the necrotic poison of the Council’s round. Phoenix stared at the blade. One second. Heat bled through her tactical glove, searing her palm like liquid fire. A single drop slid down the fuller of the knife, clinging there for an endless moment before falling. Plink.

Like saying it out loud is its own kind of relief. "Don't talk," I say. I put my hands on him. The Moonblood knows what to do. I don't have to direct it or manage it or be afraid of it. It moves through me the way it has been waiting to move — not forced, not pushed, simply allowed. It finds the powder's trace in his blood the way light finds the edges of things in a dark room. Not by force. By nature. By the simple fact that where this kind of light goes, the things that hide in darkness cannot stay hidden.

I wanted to see them again. “Seriously, woman, how clueless can you be? You are irritating me…” A vein in my right hand started glowing red and Rage slowly emerged from it. “Can’t you feel us flowing in your veins?” He said with a scowl. I gaped at him, horrified. “Y-you were flowing through my veins?” I asked. “We are components of blood. Where else do you expect us to be?” Lead emerged from a vein in my left hand. “So you’re telling me that the seven of you were living in my blood and veins?” I reiterated. “This is a scary thought, like fairies flowing in my veins, like my blood?”

Smashing a crystal against V's body, he teleported him back up to the trees, throwing a bottle of poison against the ground. An eery sight to behold. A bombed field with granules and tree branches littered across the plains, and twitching players gasping as the poison stained their blood a plum colour, showed in the veins under their now grey skin. V laid warily against the branch, watching the scene before him with disturbed eyes. "Where did you get that poison?"

Then what will I do? Soon after an hour of nervousness, Alberto walks towards me , carrying a small glass bottle in his hand. " This is the poison obtained from your white blood cells. Even a drop from this bottle is enough for killing a vampire," he says, showing me the boiling colourless substance in the small glass bottle. Thankfully the bottle's cap was silver, airtight. Taking the bottle in my hand, I asked," But how will I feed this poison to my father?" " Do you want to know something interesting, Eva?" He chuckles, stroking my chin with his index finger tip.

I found the eyes that showed the image of marriage, and with all my strength I drew my Vulcan Bow and shot the arrow at it. A painful sound came. The eyes showed signs of pain, and the sky that surrounded me began to crack and crumble like the end of days. I did it. I took out a dagger and cut a hole in my arm to let the poisoned blood out, not to spread it all over my body. But my limbs still felt numb. I can't fall. An eagle hovered overhead, bellowed, and then dropped a white arrow. I remember it. It's an arrow made of vampire's bone.

The heir of the Howe family, the infamous 'venomous snake' Zach Howe, was the only man who held sway in both the underworld and high society. However, for some reason, he became obsessed with me and would not let go. I had once asked him about it. Back then, Zach sat on the sofa with his gaze fixed on me. As he exhaled a cloud of smoke, his striking features looked even more unreal in the haze. He said, "There's no reason. I just like you."

“Now! Now.” My eyes fall on a warrior who is digging around in his trousers. I shift and fall on him, tearing his hand with the potion in it clear off. The warrior's eyes bug out of his skull and he lets out an ear-splitting scream. I mind link with my army. “Kill them before they can take that fucking potion.” Within minutes, rivers of blood run down the sloped floor in the direction of the podium. Wolves are stepping on each other, body parts are flying all over the place.

His skin was pale and as white as snow, his eyes tightly shut. Seraphine was about to scream when she noticed that his chest was heaving, but slowly. She rushed towards Alaric and Theon. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she dropped to her knees. "What... What happened to him?" She asked Theon. "I don't know. He was addressing everyone when all of a sudden he just started coughing," Theon explained. Seraphine was confused. Why in the world would he cough up blood? She touched his cheek. He was as cold as ice, which frightened her.

Pine nodded firmly. Kevin convinced herself. From behind, Julio walked over with a tray containing two silver vials, a syringe, and a dagger. Pine looked at the three items nervously. "I will support whatever your decision," said Kevin. Kevin also took one of the two cups, which was the blood cup. "Drink half of it, it will help you fight the pain later." Pine held this cup tightly, she kept looking at its contents feeling hesitant to drink it. The deep red liquid made her even more nervous. She knew that this was the blood of vampires and if she drank it then Pine could no longer retreat.
