Anine asked. "Your daughter needs the blood of the deity on it. When he appeares in human form, give him a cut. Do not wrestle with him. Just a cut. The blood of that body he uses is the only thing that is needed on this sword. Ajonwa is a Spirit but he uses the body to wreak havoc. Get the blood on the sword and he would be no more. "He would kill me!" Anine said almost loudly. "Once his blood touches the sword, he would be rendered powerless and he will never use that body again. Can you do it? Consider the generation yet unborn and what he would do to them. Remember what he did to you, would you allow him to do it to another?"

It was highly likely the Dao of Heavens of this plane had long kicked them out to a higher plane of existence. After scanning the cottage with her divine sense and confirming that she was truly alone, Little Yin sat up on the wet cobblestone floor without care for the blood seeping into her ink-stained robe. It was not her blood, but rather her captor’s. In fact, it wasn’t only blood. The red liquid on the floor was a type of compounded blood poison formed from the body part of the man after it was melted by the corrosive poison emitted by Yin’s blood. It melted everything from the skin down to the bones, with nothing left.

With one ruthless drag across his palm. Flesh parted and blood gushed out, thick and red. He clenched his palm and let it spill into the bottle. Drop by drop, his blood fell in. But instead of filling and staining the glass bottle red… It vanished, turned into a clear, colorless liquid upon contact, dissolving into nothing.

Irine appeared with unsteady steps. Her face was pale, like wax on the verge of melting. In her trembling hand, a small bottle shimmered beneath the firelight, filled with a dark crimson liquid. A single drop of Veya’s blood—stolen in secret, exactly as I had ordered.

Verik's tremble knit in folds, annoyed by the outcome. “Unless he was already weakened by something, and someone deliberately brought him there, my alpha examined the corpse, brought back a sample of the blood, and identified a dark blue substance that appeared to be poison,” Jorah called out, sparking a flurry of whispers. Rusland said. Maddox agreed, and Myra felt a surge of relief as he turned to Jorah and then Draven. “You said the poison was blue, correct?” Maddox said as they all turned to him, “That’s what I want to talk about. Tubes between them would either cycle the blood in again which makes no sense, or they’re sending the blood down the line, from bag to bag. Which doesn’t make much sense either.” He puts the pieces down. “Why do this at all? All the people we found so far have been vampires, right?” Serena nods,

The power flowing from the Unity was being annulled by cloying earth charged with the boy’s ki. Poe arrested its advance by drawing the moisture from the earth, making it dry and brittle. The moisture he drew from the soil, he sent to wash upon the boy’s shield. Water would find its way. And it did. It coursed through the fissures made by Poe’s attack to the void within. Once within, the globe of water encircled the boy’s head, filling his nostrils and his mouth. With the boy’s concentration broken, Poe was able to smash his fists against the earth which fell away in hard, brittle sheets.
