Sunflowers Uprooted, Love Dissected

Sunflowers Uprooted, Love Dissected

“When you were staying with our family, I used to wonder when I’d finally get the chance to take good care of a sunflower of my own. I’ve had the means for a long time, but I kept hesitating, letting its season pass me by again and again. Now that you’re here, I finally have the courage to try and nurture one. Tell me, do you think it’s too late?” Noah spoke as if he were talking about the flowers, yet he kept his gaze fixed on me the whole time. He was even holding his breath as he waited for my answer. However, I could not give him an answer at that moment. I did not want to be kept, caged, or loved in a way that felt like chains. So I only smiled and helped water the plants. I figured, ju

Still Loving You Nonetheless

Still Loving You Nonetheless

This time there were not only roses but also sunflowers in full bloom. When Josiah handed the flowers to Nia, he stroked her little head and said, "Sunflowers represent prosperity and are as bright as the sun. I hope Nia can be as bright and positive as a sunflower in the future!" Nia nodded happily. "Thank you, Daddy, I will!" "Okay, then let's go home!" Josiah stretched his hands to her, and Nia immediately threw himself into his arms. "Great, Nia can finally be discharged from the hospital!"

Moving On from a Cheater

Moving On from a Cheater

The florist chimed in, "Ma'am, I think sunflowers suit you better." Iris smiled, curious. "Why is that?" "The language of sunflowers is to bravely face challenges, cut through thorns, and show a brilliant life," the florist explained. Iris was a lawyer, and having recently cut her hair short, she exuded a competent and neat impression, but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. Perhaps that was why she looked like she was in need of encouragement, and so, the florist recommended sunflowers. Stanley's hurtful words from the day before had indeed made her sad.

The story was good but it stopped abruptly with lots of loose ends. It would have been nice for Kendra to be put in her place after Rachel’s return. We never got to find out the reaction of the Stein family after Renee’s scandal or to get to the climax which would have been Jason and Iris’s wedding

My pov: I hope the author should have had researched more and had seek advice from real lawyers the intricacies about legal matters, like is it allowed by law to bear witness against the current spouse not yet divorce and what's more to be the one to personally prosecute them?

Double Mate For The Princess

Double Mate For The Princess

I have gotten so used to getting what I want by force that it is hard any other way. "You can move out," I blurted out and almost immediately turned to face the window again. I never noticed them until today, the sunflowers growing amidst all the other flowers planted in the large expanse of land directly in front of me. They were bright yellow and buoyant. Their numerosity made it hard to miss them even among other flowers, although I doubted the sunflower would go unnoticed even if it was just one planted. It was truly beautiful, a perfect distraction from the reality I was confronted with at the moment.

A love to die for....

A love to die for....

I quickly opened the next envelope. Sunflower symbolizes devotion and loyalty which come from the flower’s loyalty and devotion to the sun. Regardless of the sun’s actions, the sunflower continues to show its look at it, admire it, and follow its journey, making it the ultimate symbol of loyalty. I promise to be the sunflower to your sun. Now that you've been fed, go, and look for the clue where you lay your head…

Revenge on My Ex-husband

Revenge on My Ex-husband

Since then, she would buy a bouquet of sunflowers and put them in her room daily. Sunflowers face the sun. It would be great if she could look at her very own sun silently, just like the sunflower. That was her little secret. Una was curious when she saw the sunflowers in Luna's hands. "Luna, why do you suddenly like sunflowers?" Luna panicked for a moment, but soon returned to normal. She looked at the sunflowers with a smile. "They make me happy." Harlan smiled as well. "Would you like a sunflower garden? I'll make one for you."

THE BILLIONAIRE'S MISTRESS

he replied. "Okay," she moved into the maze of light and pulled out the flower from the sand. On the stem was a paper wrapped around it that read a poem. "What does that one say?" "Softer than petals, low tides of beauty." "Go to the next." He whispered softly. She went to the next turn and picked the other flower buried in the ground. "What does that one say?" "Like stars in auroras." She giggled. "This is sweet." She moved to the next. "A rose in the middle of a field of daffodils."

Toward the Sun

Toward the Sun

Mertalaya took hold of Candrakumala’s arm. “W-why? What’s going to happen?” “Just do it.” His voice was calm, but left no room for argument. Candrakumala shut his eyes. He felt Mertalaya gently pull his arm. He didn’t resist and simply followed the motion. Two steps forward. Then a powerful gust slammed into his face. Along with it came a strange smell, a mixture of wild vegetation and the pungent scent of a stink bug. “All right. You can open them now.”

THE RAKE WHO CHASED ONLY ME

THE RAKE WHO CHASED ONLY ME

I stopped when I saw them. She had said it weeks ago, not as a declaration about flowers, not as a hint, just as a thing that came out in the middle of a conversation about something else entirely. Sunflowers are the only flower that looks happy about existing. Said with that slight curve of her mouth that meant she had just thought of something she found genuinely pleasing. I had been half listening and half watching her face and I had filed it the way I filed everything she said without intending to file it.

Rejected by My Alpha: Pregnant with his Secret Heir

Rejected by My Alpha: Pregnant with his Secret Heir

I don’t know what to do, or who to believe anymore! I thought the fresh air from the sunflower meadow I’m currently threading in would blow this maze in my head away, but instead, I feel trapped. The air, though chill, felt too thin against my skin. And it carried with it silence synonymous with a funeral’s march. The only thing I found comforting was the soothing scent of the flower, and the soft feel of its petals against the pad of my thumb.
