I have never had big dreams of becoming a CEO who owns companies. I think that I achieved my dream, I wrote a book, not a book, but a collection of pathetic poems about life. When I say pathetic, I mean sad, because sad is all that my life has ever been. But I guess that nothing lasts for one hundred years, and I am one of them. I enjoyed some parts of my life, the earlier parts and some parts of my later life too. My life has always been between pages in a book, that is all. I have always enjoyed art, manipulated it behind closed doors. It’s not an interesting life, though it is a favorite for me. My favorite story is Africa Kills her Sun, by Ken Saro Wiwa, I have read the story ever since

she said with a light smile and opened the Poetry Anthology to the poem. ‘Coloured’ By De Wet Life starts with colour With a sort of spirit Only a child can give A parent is brightened By the mere presence the light projected But after time That colour fades Dimming Like a worn out jean A ghost Heavy and burdened Uncertain Seeking guidance Purpose Love But once found Once explored Colour returns to life And is reflected and spread

Live,laugh,enjoy every second right now so that you can't say I didn't do that later on. I am not a poet nor is this a poem, These are just words trying to tell you for what you should cherish and cheer for everytime. Your time means so much to me that I can't describe, But this is just a wishful attempt to make your day one of the best of your life.

A few times, I've woken up to a paper next to me with a sketch or poem on it. The sketch is of a rose shaped like a heart. It's truly beautiful. I smile at the sketch and then go to the poem. I want to cling to you Hold onto your body Not release you for a moment As life becomes a tsunami Threatening to drag me away from you Drowning me in the darkness While holding you in the light Burry me underground while You stand above it Don't let go As you're the reason to fight To survive In this world That tries to break me

For all the days of their lives, they would never again know a single moment of joy. Their wolves howled through the night, descending with them into the depths of darkness.

I remembered how we had our first camping, our first diving lessons, our first times trying the rides and my first time to feel that I lived a life. My disease is my greatest motivation for now. It made me realize I have a shorter life than others and it keeps on telling me that I should not waste any moment. It was scary at first knowing my days are just numbered but now, I am not that scared anymore. I want to seize my seconds with everything I had. Arrogance befit no man for whatever we have today, won’t be buried with us tomorrow. ~Humeyra. HAMDAN’S P.O.V The last messages I got from Humeyra really messed me up. I didn’t know that I meant so much to her that my death would affect her as much as she said. The poem she wrote to me still lingers in my mind as I recall my heart beating to every word that her poetry entailed. The poem goes as follows:

“Here he is Charlotte.” [The club speaker] “Nothing is permanent. Our passions, our loves or indeed our lives might indeed be fleeting but if while we have the chance we embrace them fully, then we can say that we have truly lived poetry. Poetry can be taught but really it should be tried, it should be tested, it should be engaged with. Take it on and allow it to change your life.” “Who is he?” Charlotte asked. “Even I don't know. It's best for people like us to not get to know everyone we encounter.”

The tiniest choice that we make reverberates throughout the entire universe. “Life” is such a wide umbrella; a word that covers many, many things, and everyone’s experience of it is different. So let’s narrow it down. Let’s look at some poems about life that crack open how life can feel when we’re struggling and things are hard…but also ones that put a balm on that wound. There’s a lot of shit going on right now. There always is, but it’s been particularly sharp and thorny lately, and sometimes we need someone to put that into the words we just don’t have in us. Sukoon life is not always giving you red roses it will give you some difficulties also. Life is a beautiful journey filled with ups and downs, twists and turns. It can be challenging at times, but that is what makes it worth living. Every experience, whether good or bad, teaches us something invaluable. It helps us grow, learn and become the best version of ourselves. So, never give up on pursuing your dreams and passions, remember that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Stay positive, stay motivated, and never let anyone dull your sparkle. Life is precious, and every moment counts. Live it to the fullest!
