THE CEO'S NOT-SO-OBEDIENT WIFE

THE CEO'S NOT-SO-OBEDIENT WIFE

I stood before the microphone, my heart pounding in my chest. "Here's the masterpiece." The speaker's voice resonated through the room, introducing me and my artwork to the eager audience. The spotlight was on me, and I took a deep breath, summoning the courage to share the meaning behind my creation. "My painting," I began, my voice steady yet filled with emotion, "represents the essence of innocence, peace, unity, and the pursuit of world peace." I pointed to the depiction of a beautiful baby at the center of the canvas, its eyes filled with wonder and purity. "This baby symbolizes innocence, reminding us of the untarnished potential within each and every one of us."

Night Of His Obsession

Night Of His Obsession

It was a heartfelt ode to white tulips, their delicate petals symbolizing purity and new beginnings. I couldn't help but be captivated by the imagery woven into the verses, each line resonating with a sense of hope and renewal. It was as if the poem had been written just for me, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there was always the promise of a fresh start. Lost in the beauty of the words, I barely noticed as the reader returned to my station, a curious expression on her face. "Is everything okay?" she asked, her concern evident in her voice.

Tuberose

Tuberose

Lost in thoughts that swirl and twine, A tapestry of yours and mine, A tale of love and shattered dreams, Of innocence lost in silent screams. With pen in hand, I lay it bare, The ache, the hurt, the unanswered prayer, Words flow freely, a healing balm, As I capture the storm in silent calm. In each line, a piece of my soul, A story of love that took its toll, Dance of shadows, a play of light, A journey through the endless night. So let me write, let me release, The pain that seeks a sense of peace, For in these words, I find my way,

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Her Wolf King

Her Wolf King

“She touches me without fear. She reaches for me without hesitation. She exists alongside me without judgment. Why? Why does she not fear me? Why does she not understand I want to erase her? Why does she not know I believe she should not exist?” “Because she is innocent. Because she only knows love. Because she has never experienced betrayal or cruelty or darkness wanting to destroy her.” Little Aria smiled. “She trusts because she has only known trustworthy beings. She reaches because she has only known beings who protect. She exists without judgment because she has only known beings who accept. That innocence is what existence protects. That trust is what life nurtures. That love is what s

The Alpha's Blood

The Alpha's Blood

I don't know if his parents can hear us but I just hope that they don't or else he'll be dead. My cheeks are already heating and I can sense that it's already red since he's really dead serious about him wanting to take me now. I don't want them to have an idea of what we are talking about. It'll make me so ashamed of myself and that's because of this mate of mine who can't seem to get enough of me and can't stop himself from being horny from time to time. I don't even know why his image of him taking me just pop up in my mind out of nowhere and I hate my mind now. I totally do. He just tainted my innocence! Wait- am I even innocent when I met him? All I know is that I lost it the moment I o

A Game Of Revenge

A Game Of Revenge

He said gently. I sniffed and didn't reply. I closed my eyes as the sound gave me a reprieve from chaos. I closed my eyes, my heavy heart felt calm for a second as I found myself losing in a deep slumber and earning a short-lived solace from this cruel reality of being degraded where I lost my shine and got lost in the darkness. "Your innocence was tainted from the very start." "You were, you are and you will remain cursed." I woke up with a scream and sat up, losing my breath, tears brimmed in my eyes, my hairs stuck to my forehead because of the sweat formed over it.

Psychopath's Wife (The Escaped Wife)

Psychopath's Wife (The Escaped Wife)

She was a perfect girl who was filled with innocence. The way she dressed up and walked perfectly explained she wasn't like those whores who do makeup and walk around to lure the guys. I was damn sure she wouldn't have touched a boy in her life. She was exactly what I wanted, innocent, naive and simple. She was in her purest form, untouched and holy. And that was the day, I decided on one thing. Innocence won't reside in her eyes, if someone will reside, it would be me. "SHE IS MINE."

Faith and the three fates.

Faith and the three fates.

Since there’s no help, come let us kiss and part; Nay, I have done, you get no more of me, And I am glad, yea glad with all my heart That thus so cleanly I myself can free; Shake hands forever, cancel all our vows, And when we meet at any time again, Be it not seen in either of our brows That we one jot of former love retain. Now at the last gasp of Love’s latest breath, When, his pulse failing, Passion speechless lies, When Faith is kneeling by his bed of death, And Innocence is closing up his eyes,
