This is painful, I love him so much! I laugh bitterly. Love is cruel in many ways, but pain is dangerously painful in many ways. In love, you can still survive as time passes by with all the people loving you, but pain, it's damn difficult like you drowned in a muddy lake. Now, I understand why most people choose to kill themselves, arising from pain is not as easy as surviving your final exam.

Time passes slowly and cruelly, Leaving deep wounds. Every smile you once warmed, Is now a frightening nightmare. My heart that was once full of love, Is now just meaningless fragments. You left without a word, Leaving wounds that never subside. Behind the curtain of the dark night, I whimper in deep silence. Love that was once a healer, Now becomes a poison that infiltrates subtly. In every breath, There is a sense of loss that cannot be erased. I tried to hold on with my remaining strength, But this love has destroyed.

The most painful thing in the world is probably loving someone who doesn’t feel the same way. Unrequited love is painful yet blissful at the same time. Painful because it’s heartbreak without all the beginning and the middle. Only the end. Blissful because it’s without all the drama.

Lyric’s P.O.V: “I love you.” “No.” She shook her head vigorously. “You don’t mean that.” “I love you.” I repeated, taking her hand in mine. “I love you.” “No, you don’t. You can’t.” She took her hands out of mine and stepped back. “Why?” I asked her calmly, while my insides turned into stone. I never knew it was so difficult loving someone until I had finally fallen hard and fast. This pain hurt worse than any hit I had ever taken in the ring.

The pain from that night two years ago that I have struggled to keep buried climbs up to the surface. And it wrecks every cell and muscle in my body. The originator of that pain is standing in front of me. Heartless. Unremorseful as I silently fight with my mind to keep the pain locked down. Pain is like a lethal migraine. It twists, bites, and tries to do everything in its wicked power to suck out the life force from anything it touches. But the pain caused by someone you love, someone you thought loved you…. the lethal impact of that kind of pain is way beyond words.

“Love isn’t supposed to hurt, Ethan. If it hurts then it’s never love. Love is for better or worse,” my voice choked as I uttered those words. But I continued. “But your love, Your love is like walking through thorns, pine, needles—one’s that prick my skin at every turn I make. Till you finally bleed me dry leaving me desolate.” My chest clenched in pain knowing every word I uttered was the truth. I could see clearly that my words affected him. He looked away, his teeth clenched hard as he growled.

The kind of love which made me unknown, helpless and pathetic. the kind of love which I have experienced and still going through it. a low chuckle left from my lips when I recalled the days of my day dreaming about how loveable the love would be, I was so stupid to think that love makes people happy, until I got hit with the reality where all I could get from this love is Pain, sorrow and heart breaks along with a lot of sleepless nights.

I walk over to it and I take in a deep breath, “Love is a flame that burns with a sacred fire, and fills you up with its sweet desire. Yet, once the altar feels love's fiery breath, it makes the heart be a crucible until death. What happens when the heart yearns no more? Will you always have to settle the score? Say love is life, and say it is not amiss. Say that love is but a synonym for eternal bliss. Say what you will of love, in what refrain, but the heart knows that it's another word for pain.
