Point Blank Range Mentor Novels & Stories

"You're a great mentor. I already got the hang of it." She shoots another and another and starting from that she never misses the target. She even hit the target more times than he did. "Is this not your first time?" He asked. "Yes, using a rifle. " Blaize felt ashamed of what he just did earlier. He just mentored a non-beginner of this activity. "But you helped me to get the hang of it." "No, it's because you are experienced." "Blaize, you're still the same guy who doesn't receive credit for what you've done. You're still the man that I knew all along."

One of the men handed me an M1911, already cocked and loaded. Kai pointed toward the window. "Do you see that coconut on that tree out there? You can become my personal bodyguard if you can hit it." In that instant, there was a collective gasp in the room. That tree was at least 650 feet away, and with the night falling, the target was barely a shadow. They thought that hitting a coconut at that range with a pistol was impossible and that Kai was clearly setting me up to fail. Kent's expression immediately shifted, looking as if he intended to plead for me.

Max asked her, pointing toward the dart gun she was holding. “This particular one has a range of between three and thirty yards. I have a rifle in the van with a better range, but it gets a little cumbersome when you are inside a car trying to use it,” Izzy said, smiling at him. “You are loving this, aren’t you?” “Does it show that much?” “Yes, but I won’t tell. Let’s go back to the car so you can call a team to come and pick up this thing, and we can talk about what we need to do for that project Agent Gold has given us,” Max said, returning her smile.

She felt his assessment travel the distance between them, quick and clean. "The antenna," she said. "Forward mount, between the sensor clusters. Physical interrupt will kill the call." "Range?" "Thirty-five meters. I have one good shot before the angle closes." "Then take it." She did not argue. She pressed her spine flat against the column, forming a brace with her own body, and drew the kinetic pistol. The guardian unit was repositioning along its rail. She had three seconds. She did not think about how many rounds she had left. She did not think about what would happen if she missed.

“Pitiful.” “Good to know. Mak! Make sure we check in on our first few shipments of these once they’re delivered,” I call to my brother over my shoulder. “We don’t want disgruntled customers coming at us over plastic shit.” “You got it.” Mak salutes from where he’s finagling some wiring in the control booth. I don’t know what he found in disarray, but it’s enough to get him cursing under his breath. Pulya, this gun range, is one of Makari’s personally-owned businesses. He wanted something more original than a nightclub or restaurant.

Not the one they went to last time but a larger facility in Queens. "This place has a dynamic range," Wyatt explained as they pulled into the parking lot. "Moving targets, reactive scenarios, stuff beyond just standing and shooting at paper. Cops and SWAT use this place." Lauren's stomach flipped with nerves. "Okay." Inside, Wyatt handled the paperwork, rented the equipment they'd need. The range master recognized him, gave him a key to one of the private bays in the back. "You're a regular here?" Lauren asked as they walked down the corridor.

The range was much larger than she'd imagined, with both indoor and outdoor setups. "Wow, you must be a pretty good shot to have a range like this." "I don't shoot. The whole thing's for Marion. He's hooked. Needs to fire off a few rounds now and then." Marion handed her a pistol. "It's not that hard. As long as you get your stance right, you won't hurt yourself." Randy smirked, "With how thin she is, I bet it'll knock her over." Marion shot him a look. "Go make us some tea."
