“Why are you showing me this, North?” North shrugged as he moved closer and picked out a handgun. “Do you know this toy?” I shook my head. “This is a Kimber .45. It is designed for self-defense and target shooting. It's a semi-automatic pistol that fires .45 ACP ammunition. As for the range, it can vary depending on the specific model and the shooter's skill. Generally, it has an effective range of around 50 yards, that's about 46 meters.” I was impressed was a fucking understatement. My mind was fucking blown over and it made my skin tingled. SCAR'S POINT OF VIEW As I stood at the shooting range, I focused intently on the target, the rifle pressed firmly against my shoulder. My first shot struck right at the center, sending a small red light flashing above the lane. A bullseye. Despite the perfect shot, I kept my reaction muted, maintaining my composure.

“Excellent shot, Ainsley.” The range trainer wiggles his eyebrows. “Do those gold eyes help your vision?” “Uhm, no.” I fake a smile. “My grandfather taught me to shoot.” “They say Alpha Nicholas is the best.” The trainer chooses his words carefully now. “Yeah, they do.” I stare him down. “We’ll put you with the Level One warriors.” He clears his throat. I engage the safety and place the handgun on the counter. “Thank you, Sir. My grandfather will be here in a few days. He’d love to hear your thoughts on his training methods.”

"I imagine you're not familiar with the model?" "I've never held a gun in my life. I'm an engineer, not a sharpshooter." "It's not complicated. For a beginner, Point and Shoot covers most of it.
