THIRD POV Ivy's hands behind her struggled to untie the hard rope around her. She is tied to a chair in an empty white room. Her injured arm and foot are covered with bandages. She is not in her swim suit anymore but in an unknown blue dress She let out groans, feeling the pain from her wounds. She still struggled regardless to untie herself but the rope is super tight. She looked around her and spotted a CCTV camera, watching her. She glared at the camera, clenching her jaw angrily.

with those words, Bryan touched Ivy's forearm and silently urged her to move. Ivy started moving on autopilot. She is not thinking straight. She is still shocked. Once Bryan helped Ivy inside their waiting vehicle, he turned to face her from the front seat. "Ivy, what was that about? What is it about his tattoo that made you look like you have seen something you were not expecting to see?" he inquired. Ivy didn't look at him. But his words registered in her mind. “To honor her.” My throat bobbed painfully, and I couldn’t find the words to respond. I simply walked forward, sinking onto the stool beside Ivy’s bed. The sight of her body, lying so still, was nearly too much to bear. Her skin, once full of life and warmth, had taken on a strange pallor, starting to decay. Patches of gray and purple spread across her arms and neck, the venom already working its way through her system.
