The baby's skin was delicate and warm, and I felt a surge of protectiveness wash over me. "Hello there, little one," I whispered. "I'm your father. I promise I'll be here for you every moment from now on." The baby cooed and gurgled, seemingly content to be held in my arms. I couldn't help but smile, overcome with love and joy. I knew that my life would never be the same again, but I was more than ready to take on the challenges and responsibilities of fatherhood. As I held my son close, I made a silent vow to be the best father I could be, to always put my family first and to do everything in my power to give my son the best life possible.

He turned around to give me a proper hug and took a deep breath . I explained and he nodded, finally stretching his hand. "Caleb Matthias, the supposed deadbeat father" He joked as I accepted his handshake. "Mackenzie Howard, your son's ex girlfriend.
