I knew the high-ranking shifters and pack warriors would be flooding the courtyard anytime soon to begin their brutal afternoon combat training, and the last thing I wanted was to be caught in their path.

I couldn't admit it to Soph, but he was an even better trainer than she was, and I imagined it had something to do with the fact that he'd been a rogue his entire life— so he said. The whole thing started on the second day after our return. Black came up to me and said he was a little uncomfortable that I let him stay in the territory, and he wasn't doing anything for me in return. I told him it was simply payment for accompanying me back home, and he didn't have to do anything, but he insisted on doing something for me. I had nothing better to do with my time anyway, so I let him talk me into training to get a better grip on my stamina. On our way back from the field, whispers and murmuring

His smile widens and accepts it. “You’re too young in this kind of job. You’ll still have many things to learn. Nice to meet you too, Miko. You can call me JD-hyung.” He said as we shake hands. Then he looked at Aikon-hyung. He noticed it and said, “Grey of Dark Knight, 18. A black belter and master of martial arts. In charge of training new agents and expert in face to face fights. Aikon Advincula outside but just call me Aikon. I’m Stargazer’s bar tender and Polaris’s barista. Hope we can be friends.”

The king said and everyone’s attention was instantly on Thousand-nights predator “We all know that even though one’s talent and dedication usually dictates how strong a Hunter will grow, we should also remember that the type of ability he has will determine a lot in how far he’ll grow. The former glass-eyed Hunters almost brought about total annihilation to us Hunters but it must also be noted that they had overpowered abilities, so I say why don’t we wait till after he receives his blessing, if it’s a normal or weak type then there is no cause for alarm but if it’s overpowered then we will find a way to take care of the situation.” Thousand-nights predator said calmly and a thoughtful look

And yet, when I stepped inside and my eyes immediately searched for him without my permission, I knew I was lying to myself. He was already there, standing near the free weights. He had on a black shirt and grey joggers. Sleeves rolled up just enough to expose his forearms. His back was to me, muscles shifting under the fabric as he lifted. He looked… solid.. Like he belonged in his body. But I think Damien looked hotter, I clicked my tongue and looked away. I was training my back and biceps this time, another workout routine gotten from Poppi, a gym rat I was stalking on I*******m.

He heard his father resorted with frustration in his voice. “Dear, you shouldn’t be here. Go back to your room.” His mother hurriedly whispered when she noticed him listening to their conversation. “Wait, did you just say men in black?” Hyde resorted when he came back to his senses. His companion didn’t speak but answered him with a mere nod. “Oh, and one more thing, she also said that one of them has some kind of black bird tattoo on the neck.” Hyde was stunned when he heard about the tattoo. He’s certain, that the deceased man was one of them—or just a scapegoat.

He trained with the Council, so he would fight like them. "
