My fingers carefully parted her muzzle before inserting the vial as far back into her mouth as I could. The contents dripped out slowly, seeming thicker than I’d first thought, but within thirty seconds, every drop was inside the Bear’s mouth. I kept a hand lightly over her throat until I felt movement that I hoped confirmed she’d swallowed everything.
