Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

JULIAN I was perfectly polite. I want to account for this with the specific and honest attention of a man who knows the difference between polite and perfectly polite, who understands that the performance of perfect politeness has a different quality than the particular and natural quality of ordinary politeness, that it has an edge to it, a specific and constructed quality, the politeness of a man who is being polite because he has decided to be polite and is bringing to the decision the full and particular resources of a man who did not do things approximately.

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Morning light slips in through the tall windows and settles on the silverware like it belongs there more than we do. Everyone is already seated when I walk in. Grandma sits beside Grandpa in their usual seats, spine straight, expression carefully arranged. few uncles and aunts are scattered along the table, murmuring softly. Conversations pause when I take my seat, then resume as if nothing happened. I nod to Grandma. She looks at me, but there isn't any disapproval either. I keep my posture proper. Shoulders back. Chin neutral. The version of myself I learned early. Polite. Respectful. Quiet enough not to invite commentary.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Her Tempting Nemesis

Her Tempting Nemesis

Sighting her presence, he opened the door for her, and bobbed his head, gesturing inside. "Welcome to Nakumi's Gourmet." He greeted, his voice well cultured and automated. She nodded with a smile. "Thank you." "Do you have reservations, madam?" She cringed at being called Madam but she can't blame the poor man. "Madam" is used to show utmost respect but it is just that it is too archaic. "Yes of course." She replied with her chin jutted out, oozing aristocratic ambience. "Very well. Kindly go to the attendant desk and you will be directed. Have a fantastic time madam." He said with a slight bow.

Bride Of The Beast

Bride Of The Beast

I snorted before I could stop it, like the prince cared about me anyways. “Lesson three: no matter how much someone pisses you off and just want to tell them to shove their opinion up their ass, you have to do it politely, for example.” Denis brought his legs down from the chair to face me fully. “You say: I appreciate your concern, but I will consider it in private.” “Isn't that the same thing?” “Exactly.” He said pleasantly. “It's just wrapped in silk. “And if I don't.” I had to ask.

Fatal Attraction

They are identical and so perfectly dressed: they are wearing tailored suits. - Your children are very beautiful. Hello my angels. - Hello sir. - Your house is very beautiful. - Moreover, they are polite. They extend their little hands for me to greet them. I pull them closer to me before turning to their father. - Hello sir, and thank you for bringing my little niece. Come, we will get you settled; I hope you will spend a few days with me. - Of course, if you let this woman go, we will be here with you; we have a lot to catch up on.

“And when you greet someone, maintain eye contact and offer a firm but gentle handshake. Confidence is key.” “Remember, always keep your answers short and polite,” Alfred advised. “And never reveal too much about yourself. It helps if you ask them a question about themselves; keep them talking.” I nodded, taking in his words. “Got it. Short and polite.” Alfred smiled. “Good. Now, let’s practice. Pretend I’m a guest at the banquet.” He stood up straighter, posturing as a wealthy lord. I thought for a moment before asking, “Sir Alfred, It's my pleasure to meet you. I trust the banquet is to your taste?”

The Alpha's Slave Mate

The Alpha's Slave Mate

We had a deer (an incredibly shy lady whose expression exactly summed up that phrase ‘a deer caught in the headlights’), a falcon (a lady who looked like she would swoop down on Casper like he was her prey), and a frog (an absolutely stunning lady who looked and talked like a princess - I just wanted to throw Casper off a bit with the whole frog image. There were only a couple of hangers left so most of the guests had arrived. I was glad because I was getting exhausted being this polite to people! The next guest was a female and with what I presumed was her father. I went over to greet them. “Hello Sir, may I take your coats?” “Why thank you, yes,” he replied, taking off his coat. I smiled w

"Do I look like I'm joking? I'm pretty serious." "Who does that? Seriously. Who are you? I would never get you my bed, considering someone who just turned your whole world upside down." "Well, I would. That's how my mom taught me. Be polite to people." "That's not the word. Polite isn't in your category. You are not polite at all." "You think?" asked Ava, chuckling. "Yeah, I know. Wrong word. What should it be?" "Well, it's more like accommodating. You're very welcoming."

Ashley said with a mouthful of cake. “You should chew and swallow before you speak to avoid being choked.” He warned and she scoffed. “I will chew and talk the way I want.” “Suit yourself.” He replied and she shrugged. “Thanks for tonight Hayden, even though you almost ruined it, I still had a great time.” “Yeah, sure.” He answered and Ashley chuckled. “Do you know what courtesy is?” “Of course.” “Then you were supposed to reply to me politely.” “Is it essential?” “Yes.”
