Panic immediately struck Poppy, and she hurriedly ran to the large window in the house to check the time. “I'm dead!” Poppy hit her head gently when she found out that it was already afternoon. Poppy turned around and found Charles still asleep, without a single piece of clothing on. Realizing that she had to take care of the land issue for her friends.

I agreed. “My kinda girl,” I said. She looked at me, surprised that I agreed. “I knew I liked you,” she smiled and I wrapped my arms around her as she leaned in for a hug. She wrapped her arms around me and I held her for a moment just taking in the moment. “How can we do that?” Poppie said sitting up and wiping away tears that had fallen down her cheeks. “Well, I found out that in order to hurt sadistic rich people, you have to know how to hurt them,”

I feel extremly confused when he tells me he will take care of Aziel that looks like he will breath fire any second now. I look up at Orion and notice his eyes are blue once more and he tells me to sleep, I try to fight the command but doesn't have any strenght left so I fall asleep and hear all three guys chuckle. "See you tomorrow Poppy. For more fun"

Poppy teases, reaching over to brush his hair back from his forehead. He yawns wide enough to show every little tooth, then blinks up at me. “Can I have pancakes?” “Pancakes?” I echo, feigning shock. “That’s a big request for someone who’s barely awake.” He shrugs, eyes already drooping again. “I like making them.” “Yeah,” I whisper, kissing the top of his head. “That’s reason enough, baby.” Poppy watches us, her expression soft but full of something fierce beneath it. “We’re going to be okay, aren’t we?” she asks quietly.

But my Poppy wants victory, and victory over Alpha is a great pain. Albert nodded and linked to his Beta, Gamma, and poor Chloé, taking hits like a true champion. Everyone agreed on the next phase, so when Poppy started punching the ground next to Chloé's face, I joined Gunnar, and we both started breaking through the blockage in Poppy's head to get to Iris and force her to transform.

“Ash, look. Rest assured, I’m so proud of you and how well you guys played. If I’m going to lose to anyone, I’m glad it’s you.” I bite the inside of my cheek, still feeling a boatload of nerves coming off of me in waves. “Are you positive?” My brother laughs. “Yes, dumbass! Now, change the call to video. The girls want to say hi to their favorite uncle.” I don’t think twice, as it’s been a few weeks since I’ve seen AJ’s kids and his wife. The first thing I see is his oldest daughter, Payton. I laugh, the six-year-old waving her hands at me.
