“I guess you were serious about training in Texas.”
“I don’t joke when it comes to my training, Perrin,” I chide, swiping my large bunny rabbit stuffed animal off the counter. “Are you going to hold this for me like a real date would?”
A grin slipped to the side of his mouth. “Of course.”
A half hour later, Perrin was also toting around a stuffed tiger, a stuffed rainbow unicorn, two small frog toys, and a purple flower pillow.
“You know,” he said from somewhere behind the unicorn’s oversized body, “we could probably stop playing games.”
