She tapped her memo app and scrolled through her half-constructed blog post ideas: the tragic devolution of vampires in the horror genre; the best and the worst of the found footage horror explosion; the best indie horror out of this year’s film festival circuit; scream queens to watch, the new horror badasses and final girls. She tapped her nail on the edge of her phone case as she formulated the sentences in her mind. Then the phone vibrated against her palm. Brady: And the likes keep coming!

Or The Exorcism of Emily Rose?" I asked, ignoring her protests and skipping to the box to search for a good horror movie. "No!" She shouted behind me. "How about Poltergeist?" "No!" "Annabelle?" "No!" "The Grudge?" "No freaking way. I don't​ want to wet my pants. I watched it once and damn, I was so near to pissing myself. That creature, oh my God, that thing in that movie gives me nightmares."

I chuckled and turned to him and asked, "Don't you know that there's different horror movies?" "How?" "Listen, under horror the movies are separated as demonic movies, haunted movies, death consequences movies, and a lot more." He let out a chuckle and said, "Years of experience, huh?" I punched his shoulder and turned on the television and went to the movies in the playlist and asked, "What do you wanna see?" And looked at him. "What about some haunted death consequences? It sounds a little scarier than others." I laughed and said, "Okay." I opened the list of movies related to that and asked him again, "From this list, what do you like to watch?"

Before I could react, George gestured, and several eerie puppets stepped forward to pin me down and drain my blood. A sharp bell rang out, echoing through the night.

The trailer that began playing made Danika’s stomach drop instantly—dark forest, screaming girl, sudden flashes, eerie music. Her head snapped toward Dante. “No. No, no, no. Please tell me that is not—” “Horror,” Dante said simply, taking his seat like it was nothing. Danika stared at him in horror. “You brought me to a horror movie?! I hate this!” Dante’s lips curled slightly. “I know.” “You—are you insane?” she whispered, already backing away toward the aisle. But the lights dimmed completely before she could escape. The movie started.

"Oh, hold on for a moment then, we should set up the camps soon its dark after all and this place keeps getting creepier but no worries okay? I've been in forests even late at night and there are no such things as witches or wizards or vamps." He chuckled. He said that to calm me down but down but all I could feel was more fear at the mention of vampire but laughed with him Anyways, she didn't want start acting like a sissy, that was Sadie's and Adrianna's job.
