Poseidon's Daughter Novels & Stories

"I don't believe we have been properly introduced. I AM Keena Lyall. Daughter of King Erebus and the Hybrid Queen Ella Lyall. And you are making a very big mistake." Jarek's father looks at my hand and pushes it away. "You are an unimportant daughter of a washed up King and his abomination of a wife. Your parents will give me what I ask for or you will die. Simple enough." "If I die," I slide a sly grin across my lips, "I am taking your son with me."

" she let that sink in as I smiled watching my beautiful mate. "His father is Poseidon and his mother is Calantha (daughter of Nereus)" She frowned, they don't like me very much, I'm not one of them, You both are their grandchildren, but They don't even know," she frowned, "I think I can help with that." I smiled and that got Rose's attention fast, her eyes lit up with hope, that maybe she could see her mate again. as they started to prepare dinner I went to my office and closed the door, *Kira?*

My eyes closed briefly as her pain reached me through the bond while the final remaining power inside me stirred painfully once more. “You do not need to fear,” I whispered gently into her mind. “Yours will never leave you.” Silver light shimmered faintly beneath the newborn’s skin almost immediately, flowing softly across her tiny body like moonlight beneath water before the child suddenly twitched, a soft cry finally escaping her lips followed quickly by another as Isolde froze completely, a broken sob escaping her while Fiora stared down at the crying child in stunned disbelief.

Hades said rolling his eyes when he said my father’s name. “You don’t like my dad?” I asked. “Your father likes to deny who he really is. That’s why you were raised as a human instead of the little Goddess you actually are.” Poseidon said. “That might have been a good thing.” I said. “What? Why?” Zeus asked. “Because from what I’ve read, Goddesses act like spoiled brats.” I said very matter of fact. “My daughters are all Goddesses, and they aren’t spoiled brats.” Zeus said puffing out his chest.

I decided that conversation, however painful, was the safest option. “I am the eldest daughter of Poseidon, God of the Sea. I told you my stepmother murdered him…. What I didn’t tell you was that, with him being a God, it is impossible that she could have done it on her own. Someone helped her, and that someone resides here. In the realm of the Gods.” “Do you know who?” “I do not. This is why our being here is such a gamble. Eros, the god of love and…. Sex. That is who we seek.”

She coughed a few times. A bottle of water stuck to the side of her cheek. Ruby turned around. An elegant woman wearing only a blue cloth smiled kindly. Amphitrítē. She is the sea goddess, the queen of the sea, and her consort is Poseidon. "Are you looking for answers?" she asked softly. A far cry from the harsh seas of Poseidon incarnate. Amphitrítē inherited the peaceful nature of the water. She looks like a beautiful seascape. Yet still inscribed with the resilience to sail the high seas.

They discussed the latest social maneuverings, their voices a low, conspiratorial hum. “Did you hear about the Leanders?” a woman with too many jewels and a shrill laugh asked, her eyes gleaming with malicious delight. “Their daughter, the blind one, supposedly caught the attention of someone from House Ares.” A man with a paunch and a self-satisfied smirk nodded, taking a slow sip of his wine. “I heard the same. A soldier, they say. Some low-ranking brute who got lucky during the chimera attack. Can you imagine? A daughter of Poseidon, with a dog of Ares? It’s a disgrace.”

“Where have I heard that name from?” “Persephone is the Goddess of Spring and the daughter of Zeus and Demeter's daughter.” She hands Carmine Chickpea. “You know Idris is correct about incest. After all, Demeter is his sister. Persephone is also married to her uncle Hades or Pluto whatever name you prefer to call him. And has a son named Zagareus and a daughter named Melinoe with him.” Wisdom doesn’t stop walking. Carmine stares at Wisdom wondering how she knows all of this about the Greek Gods. Then he chalked it up as she must have studied it in school.

Cia, she is the daughter of Hecate and she is a pure-blood because she came straight from Naitura. Ive picked up the green grape on the counter, chewed and swallowed it dramatically. "I'm busy. But, I think this is an important thing. That's why I took the time to come. Apparently, just discussing the prophecy." Poseidon wanted to drown the arrogant boy in front of him. "Do you want to visit the Mariana Trench?" Ive choked. It's not an invitation to travel. But the sea god wanted to kill Ive on purpose. "Does Uncle know that Percy and I are good friends? Should I tell him this, so he will be even more reluctant to acknowledge you as his father?"
