The rune on my back burns— not like a wound, But like it’s breathing. Each pulse whispers in a voice that isn’t mine. Little flame. I don’t remember standing. Don’t remember leaving the black oak where the rogue died. Only the heat. The scream.

I was disappointed in myself for knowing nothing, yet I pretended I did. “You see,” Lawrence uttered as he sat up and met my gaze. “There are things that seem pointless if you look at it from your own point of view. It doesn’t mean you see this and hear this, then you know everything. That’s the main reason why there are many two types of POVs in the story. First-person POV, and Third-Person POV.” He gave me a satisfied smile as he leaned closer.

[In this chapter, I will be using the third person's POV.] Third Person's POV: It was nighttime. An abandoned building stood in one of the deserted areas. The wall inside was painted black which looked like darkness engulfing every part of the building. The door of the building was opened from outside which produced a ‘creak’ sound. It sounded almost haunting since it was nighttime.

Sweat dripped from her porcelain skin, glistening in the faint moonlight that cast an ethereal glow over the landscape. Her bright blue eyes, normally sparkling with curiosity, now seemed dull and tired, her eyelids drooping with exhaustion. She breathed out tiredly, her delicate chest heaving with each labored breath.

Grandma Lola clutched Clover’s hand tightly, her knuckles pale, as if letting go might somehow shatter the fragile moment they were standing in. Mrs. Lauren Blackwood finally took a slow, steady breath. She pressed her lips together, gathering herself, then looked directly at Clover. “Please,” she said gently, her voice trembling despite her effort to stay composed. “Look at this book. And then… tell us what you think.”

POV: Unknown Person The night was cold, the kind of cold that seeped into your bones and lingered, but I barely noticed. The wind howled around me, sending leaves skittering across the rooftop, but I stayed still, cloaked in darkness. The only thing that mattered was the scene unfolding through the softly glowing window across the street.

Third person POV As they drove for hours into the downtown area, Katherine's excitement grew. She couldn't help but wonder what Nathaniel had planned for their special evening. The city lights blurred together, a colorful tapestry outside the car window. Finally, they arrived at a beautiful garden, tucked away from the bustling streets. Nathaniel led Katherine through the entrance, and she gasped in awe. The garden was transformed into a romantic haven. Soft moonlight filtered through the trees, casting an ethereal glow. Thousands of flowers – roses, lilies, and carnations – bloomed around them, filling the air with sweet fragrances.
