Rejected Outcast: Chased by the Lycan
Once I saw no one outside, I quickly leapt out the window and landed on the ground.
“And just where do you think you are going?”
I flinched upon hearing Casey’s voice, and turned to see my ‘stepsister’ smugly looking at me, with two guards by her side.
“You want some air that badly? Sure. You can go for a little walk,” Casey kindly said. To the guards, she then ordered, “Take her to the dungeon.”
“Right away, Lady Casey,” one of them answered, as they both went and grabbed me.
“You can’t make me replace you, Casey!” I exclaimed, struggling to get out of their grips. “You really think the Lycan King is stupid enough to not see an act of treason?! It’s not too late to take your rightful place!
