he took a deep breath and said, "but I have come up with an offer for you and I hope you consider it." Xasha took out a leather-covered book from his storage pack. The title was, 'basic Magic compression vol. 1.' "While the magic compression technique is still in its infancy, I've made some breakthroughs in the past three years since I first developed it. I now have enough knowledge to fill this book." The king took the book in hand, he opened it and started flipping through pages, "amazing," was all he would comment under his breath from time to time. He closed the book as he looked up and Xasha.

“Be reasonable, Branson. We are not all evil. I am not the kind of wizard to harm an innocent woman. Hell, he was stupid to kill someone who could find him magic.” Branson’s face was a blank, “I don’t care. A wizard is a wizard.” He fired his pistol. Oren felt the bullet strike him. He fell to the cold, snow-covered ground. The next bullet came from the rifle. He felt it sting. Oren clutched the standing bear Spell Node in his pocket. He let some of the magic flow from it to him. He hoped it would be enough.

I begin to read through the chapter, my mind totally mind-blown with the information. I fully lose time as I begin to read through the chapters, it described many groups of people which he came across on his travels. One in particular, study of his described more earthy type magic, focusing on nature. For instance, they are able to fill entire fields with seas of flowers. I know for sure the people that are looking for this book around the castle, will definitely not be using it for flowers! While others focused on healing people, it even described what you must do to perform the spells yourself but also, what dangers you may be inflicting on yourself and the world.

I just saw him did this kind of thing, maybe Siva is the only one who can make him do it. A few moments more, her some kind of ritual ended. The book landed on Zachary's table in her command. And then it opens by itself. The moment we saw what is written on it, we understand what the book was pointing at. "Black Magic of the Sorcerers. Wow, you mean what is written on it is full of magic?" Hunter asked.

I inquired, confused about all of it. “I… I don't know, but the book knows…” She got up and took out some very old book from the top bookshelf in the room. It wasn't an ordinary book, it looked like an expensive antique. It had a leather cover, and beautiful ornaments all around the front and side. When she opened it I felt some wave of electricity flowing through my body. “You felt it, right? That's magic,” Grandma chuckled, “This is our family's magic book. It has an answer to most of the magical problems we could encounter,” she explained.

She nodded. “The book of enchantment is our last resort. Teach me how to do magic.” We stood up and grabbed the book. The writings were unfamiliar to me, but Niah can read them. She scanned the book to find a spell that would help me see evil spirits. “Here it is,” she said, and glued her eyes to the middle page. “In order to make this work, close your eyes and chant the spell inside your mind. But you have to remain focused. It will not be easy,” she added.

He nodded slowly and before he could say anything more, the bedroom door swung open. Erick and Jess stood at the doorway; they were both breathless, so we knew they were running. Jess held one of the thickest books I had ever seen; it was a large brown book with golden decals swirled throughout the cover. In the front of the book, in a silvery oval was a white infinity symbol I didn’t quite recognize and then written in white above the symbol read: Book of Magic. “Woah…” I breathed, staring at the book. It was real.

I call Ri'elle for advice. "Hey Ri... It's me. Listen... We are trying to work a protection spell over a few safe houses, I have a spell from this book 'White magic for times of war' It seemed pretty straight forward, but now..." I jump straight into the issue, knowing that neither of us has time to waste at the moment. Ri'elle sighs "Okay, what is the book telling you to offer up as a trade?"

I pricked my thumb with a new needle, placed it over the hole and blood seeped it before my wound began to heal. Amber light rounded the big book, followed by its sudden shaking, before the pages began to flip themselves. By dropping the blood, the book detects the magic you want and flips to the page. If you dare touched the insides of the book, it would burn your skin. I had learnt that the hard way. The pages stopped flipping and the book rose in the air, as if offering a decree. Barrier spell. To be used just twice by a single person. To any other missionier, it was a simple spell. But in my case, I had to use a huge deal of power.

Precise. He catalogued everything. I set it aside and pull another: Warding and Containment Magic: Vol. II. Inside, diagrams of sigils, instructions for layering defenses, notations on what energies can and cannot be sealed. I recognize one ward Khael showed me. Others are unfamiliar—older, harsher, drawn with urgency. There are books about energy alignment. One on Hollow geography post-curse. Another on lunar magic and its ties to fertility. But none of them are what I need.
