Pretty Ugly Book Novels & Stories

Willow's POV I stood staring at my reflection in the mirror, the woman staring back at me almost unrecognisable. My cheeks were hollow, my blue eyes sunken deep with dark circles beneath them, and my once vibrant hair hung limp and lifeless. The long, low-cut dress clung to my body, a testament to the weight I’d lost. The high slit up my leg seemed to mock me, revealing not just skin but the fragile state of my soul.

There was no way it wouldn't end in a very ugly way. And despite the growing need to show him that I was there, and that no other girl who answered his Stories was more interesting than me, I also didn't want to make it clear to him that I would be available at any time to answer his messages, but I couldn't pretend to myself that I was at the mercy of someone I barely knew, and it was very wrong to admit God forgive me, but I judged a book a lot by its cover. And Flynn Ashton's book seemed to me like the bible, so angelic that man seemed to me.

“Stop being so dramatic, Miss Morgan. There’s no need to sigh that much. Read the book.” She glowered at him before she pulled the book open. And then she saw... Nothing. The book was blank. It was like a huge, ugly notebook. Why would anyone even make something like this? It looked old, and the leather binding had seen better days. There were some faded markings that she couldn’t quite read, but the words definitely didn’t spell out Textiles.

It’s an old leather-bound book, with a red leather cover and a gold emblem on the front, she turns it to read the spine, “The Parrot and the Hunter. Is this a children’s book or a weird shifter romance novel?” Morpheus laughs, and she sits down and opens it, “Ah, romance novel.” She taps it thoughtfully, “No pictures.” She smiles as Sol flushes and she curls up on the sofa to read, she flips through, “Oh, my apologies, there are pictures.” Sol groans as she takes in the etching of two people clearly fucking each other senseless. “Informative pictures.” Morpheus laughs hard,

The book fell twice. “You move like someone used to being overlooked,” she said. “A wife of Vale does not slouch for pity. Nor stiffen for defense. She exists as if the world was always watching, and always will.” I picked up the book. Walked again. Kept going until my neck ached and my pride with it. Speech. She handed me a folded page of newsprint. “Read. As if you’ve known these words all your life.” I began: “Global markets fluctuated amid rising concerns over inflation—”

I mumble, heading to my office. I sit down in my chair and put the book on the desk. I look closely at the cover and realize it isn't leather, but some soft dark skin, more on a fur than the normal boom cover. My guess would be some.random animal with fur but I think sime fur isn’t smooth as this. I turn to the first page and mutter a curse under my breath. I read the tiny scrawl with widening eyes.

I fumble with his belt buckle for a second with nervous hands but make quick work of his zipper. He lifts his hips and pushes his pants down to give me better access. He’s freaking huge. I’ve seen penises before, there is very little in the way of modesty in the modeling world, but Gage is longer and thicker than any I’ve ever seen. To say it’s intimidating is an understatement. A pearly drop of pre-cum beads on the tip and I lick my lips, wondering what it tastes like.

She grabbed a thick book and pulled it off the shelf before returning to her seat. She placed the book on the coffee table in front of me so I could see it. My eyes widened when I saw the gorgeous purple and white designs on the book with dark purple lettering that read: Spell Book. “A spell book?” I gasped, running my fingers down the front cover. “Is this real?” She nodded.

Embarrassed! That's the only word to describe how I am feeling at this moment. My hair is sticky from the fizzy foam of Tanya's spiked lemonade. She's ruined the silver halter dress that Model Perfect had me wear. I know I saw cameras and phones landing on me at that party. My phone beeps and buzzes with the sounds of a thousand judgmental comments. I open it and my cat fight has already gone viral with the title, "Model Perfect's Imperfect Princess Accepts a Modeling Challenge While Getting Baptized by Lemonde." I read a few of the comments.
