Lacia la Midford adalah seorang putri, namun ia ditakuti dan dikucilkan karena racun di dalam tubuhnya. orang-orang menyebutnya sebagai Putri Racun. Keluarganya membenci dan juga mengabaikannya. Semua orang mengasingkan Lacia layaknya putri terbuang.Puncaknya ketika Lacia memutuskan untuk terjun dari tebing ketika pasukan kerajaannya sendiri memburunya untuk dibunuh. Sakit hati karena perlakuan yang ia terima selama ini membuat Lacia mengubah identitas dan penampilannya. Ia pun menemukan keluarga baru yang lebih menerimanya dibandingkan kerajaannya dahulu. Semua berjalan lancar, hingga akhirnya di sebuah pesta, kakaknya, Lucius la Midford, melihatnya. Lucius meminta bahkan memaksa Lacia untuk kembali ke kerajaan, yang jelas ditolak tegas oleh Lacia. Ia tidak mau lagi merasakan penderitaan yang sama bila kembali ke kerajaannya.Namun, ketika Lacia tahu apa yang menyebabkan Lucius begitu memaksanya untuk kembali ke kerajaannya sendiri, Lacia yakin, bahwa apa yang ia lakukan sekarang adalah hal yang tepat.“Hidupku dulu lebih rumit dari strategi perang, dan ketika aku mendapatkan kebebasan dalam hidup, kau datang dan membual ingin menikahiku.
