Destiny

Destiny

I opened my eyes, the rusty ceiling and the faint smell of dirt on my room greeting me an early morning. I got up from my dirty mattress which is my bed and walked towards the tilted window allowing the sun to shine all over me. The early birds chirping outside greeting me on the starting of the day. "AMARA" my mom shouted warning me to wake up and get started with my work. I sighed. Already knowing that the day will be a hectic one.

In The Guardian Realm

In The Guardian Realm

She quickly scooped some more into her mouth and she felt her energy coming back to her, she didn't notice it but damn she was exhausted. "Now that you've regained your energy, sit down and listen I'll tell you everything you need to know" Elle nodded and sat down "For starters, you are still on Earth but in a different realm. A realm that no one in the human realm really knows about. This realm and most of the creatures in it are as old as the first human to exist, it's called the guardian realm because it exists to guard and protect the world, especially humans, yes! Humans" the tree said, and Elle looked at her skeptically

She had to listen to him without looking at him. “I would, except I don’t know where the beginning really is.” He chuckled. “Have you heard the term star dust?” “Yes,” Kristen replied as she looked up and could see him there with her, but it was like he wasn’t right there in front of her either. “Aren’t we all made up of star dust?” “No.” He replied. “Some of us are more than just that.” “I don’t understand.” She replied as she looked back at the picture in her lap. “Why do I feel so different with this one picture?”

Leaving Him in the Dust

Leaving Him in the Dust

"What's this?" He barely finished when Lina came up, glaring at me warily. "Even if you're leaving, Donna, you are not to bring any family luxury items or jewelry. Family rules." Even now, she still wanted the 'greedy' label stuck on my face. I ignored her, dropping to a crouch and gingerly picked up the black urn and brushed the dirt off it. "This is my mother."

Infinite Dawn

Infinite Dawn

Namir purred shyly, trying to cover his body with his hands. I lent him the cloak that Amaris gave me. "Use this in the meantime." "Thank you, princess Nemiah." He quickly took the cloak from my hand and put it on. "How about that?" He asked. "Much better." Druji answered. "So. We just discovered something about that mark on your hand. It can purify something like what it did to Druji, maybe that's the weapon you can use to defeat Dubheasa. You can instantly take away all her powers!" Queen Morrigan pondered with enthusiasm.

Once In The Dust

Once In The Dust

she said, and soon I was seeing our world with me standing on what looked like the outlands. There were dead wolves, bears and Lycans everywhere. The massacre was much. A battle was fought, and no one won. "This happened before we sent you back. You see, we didn't send you back immediately. As time passed in the world, we hoped things would fall into place without our key players, but we were wrong. What King Aaron is looking for will lead to death. Everyone will cancel out, and only the rogues and bandits will survive. That is why we sent you back, Willow. You were already damned. I used my powers to cheat death and send you back so you could fix the problem. Saving Christopher is a piece o

I immensely enjoyed every aspect of this book! The storytelling was epic and tugged all my emotional strings like a pro puppeteer. Absolutely amazing with nerve racking, edge of your seat suspense, drama and intrigue. A journey you will not be disappointed in taking in the slightest!

This was one of the best if not the best book that I have read out of the 50 plus or more books I have read on this site. Great job to the writer, had me engaged from beginning until then end. Also, it was hard for me to anticipate the chain of events which is credit to your writing style..

They are the most beautiful in the world," Damien boasted. “Okay, evidently you already know all the others so you can compare. “Not that, but nothing can compare to them. And some are still well preserved. He thought of his house in Palm Cove, with the beach stretching out in both directions. Miles of clean, almost white sand with just a few people. Usually he went out for a run in the morning to wake up, and again at night to clear your head and relax before bed. When he needed to work on a story idea, he would walk around

A Crown of Ashes

A Crown of Ashes

Rain smashed into the earth like it wanted to bury the whole damn city, turning the graveyard into a sopping mess of mud and hunched figures clutching black umbrellas. Sienna Calder stood off to the side, her boots sinking into the muck, her old jacket—splattered with paint from a dozen late-night rants—sticking out like a middle finger among the somber suits. She wasn’t here to weep. She’d come to see the bastard in the ground for herself.

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

The lighting flashed inside, finally engulfing us until it faded away. As the smoke left, Uriel’s wings fell back into her body. Her head immediately looked down, feeling the thick sand between her toes. Out of all the beaches in both realms, the Isle of Dragons had the best sands. It was thick, like porridge and soft on the most sensitive feet. Uriel gasped, rubbing her feet into the new material she was unfamiliar with.

Great story, I’m a fan of mythology and this novel has an unique and interesting way of combining folk tales, pagan and Christian beliefs. I loved the story and the outlines of every character and it’s way of redemption/salvation.
