Maybe I really was making a huge mistake pushing him away. Interrupting my thoughts, Lucy replied, “Oh, it’s definitely true! Blake tortures people too, and so did his dad—well, your dad too, I guess. I’ve heard stories. I won’t repeat them because they’re gruesome.” “Tell me, please,” I said, eager to know, begging Lucy with my eyes. “Okay, I won’t go into detail, but I’ve heard they chop people’s arms and legs off and pull out their eyes. Stuff like that. And werewolves don’t die. They just heal so they can keep going for hours.”

I thought this book was well developed and I loved how it the story contined on involving both Alex and Blake's pack. I felt this story had more self reflection and perhaps self doubt with some of the MCs. But, honestly I think that is what made the bonds stronger and independently grow.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.

Craved (Book #10 in the Vampire Journals)

And find out if there was any way to fix it. As she drove, Caitlin thought again of the rare books she had found in her library. Most of all, she that of that one rare volume, and its torn page. She thought of its ancient ceremony, the one in Latin, with its cure for vampirism. She wondered again if it was real. Was that just passed down from folklore? An old wives’ tale?

The Vampire and the Mage

The Vampire and the Mage

She believed sometimes knowledge and curiosity would put someone's life at risk and she didn't want to drag anyone along with her crazy obsession about supernatural beings. With her secret collection, she knew that the prominent kind residing with humans were vampires. They were categorized in three categories. Pureblooded were those who were born as vampires with parents who were both vampires, they were the strongest. Turned vampires, humans who went through transition. And half-vampires, those who were fruits of the union of vampires and humans.

Dawn of the Vampires

Dawn of the Vampires

The man stopped abruptly, almost falling backwards as he did so and muttered a few drunken slurs that were unintelligible, even to a vampire. Feeling his hunger reach its peak, he bared his fangs at the man and snarled just as a strike of lightning tore through the sky, illuminating his figure. Absolutely terrified but still drunk, the man turned on his heel and tried to run away only to trip over, landing in a puddle. He waited until the man had gotten back to his feet and then captured him in a strong grip from behind, sinking his fangs deep into his neck. Guzzling down the warm, sticky blood, he couldn't stop himself even as the bitter taste caused by alcohol hit the back of his throat. I

he trailed off, his attention diverted by a notification on his phone. I didn't mean to look at his phone, but I couldn't help but notice that it was a notification announcing the release of a series I have been anticipating. "Oh my God, is that 'Dracul’ by Dacre Stoker and J.D. Barker?" I exclaimed, my excitement evident. "Yeah, you know it?" he asked. "Duhhh! I love horror fiction. I've been waiting for it to come out," I gushed, thrilled to find someone who shared my enthusiasm.

The way you handled things that were old enough to make your hands feel young by comparison She set it down. Opened it to the page she'd marked the night before with a strip of paper torn from the margin of her notepad. Demi came and stood beside her. The text was in classical vampire legal dialect. the specific register used in foundational succession documents Most people who worked with vampire legal texts used modern transliterated versions. Nora worked from the originals because the transliterations lost things. They always lost things. "Can you read it?" Demi said. "Yes." "Can you read it out loud in a language I can understand?"

The Draven's

Layla's POV: The last few lectures have been about things such as werewolves, witches, and vampires. The Professor has also spoken in depth about the history of Draphend and its association with the supernatural. I am eager to learn more about these beings, hoping to find out more about myself as well as the Draven family. The night Mr Draven hired me he told me of the family's secret. They are vampires. He assured me I was in no danger as they fulfill their thirst for blood on animals. For some strange reason I felt at ease as soon as I entered the Draven manor. I willingly accepted the job and since then I have been reading and studying as much as I can on vampires.

Vampires and Vampire Hunters

Vampires and Vampire Hunters

HAYDON There was a strange pull I felt as my bike passed a large, metallic gate which gleamed slightly in the moonlight. It was the same pull I had been feeling for the past week, and it was the same pull that was driving me crazy and led to me being sent here in the first place. I broke suddenly and got off of my bike, my feet carrying me closer towards the intimidating mansion. At first I thought about ripping the gate from it’s hinges and then walking in. I then, however, inspecting the home more closely and realised that I recognised the gate and the mansion. How could I not, in such a dull and dreary neighbourhood. It all belonged to the famous Drackon family- One of the most influenti
