Author's POV The pool glittered under the afternoon sun, it looked like a sheet of turquoise framed by palm trees. Ivy slipped off her robe and stepped in, letting the cool water wrap around her. This was her peace. Away from Liam, away from the noise. It was just her, the sky, and silence. At least, that was what she thought until she heard a low whistle. "Didn't know I had company." Her head snapped up. Liam was already in the water, leaning lazily against the edge. Shirtless. Drops of water sliding down his chest like they had a goddamn contract with gravity.

It took up the entire front half whereas the other half was dedicated to erotic photography. "White is fine." I answered, as she held up a bottle of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. "Meilleur choix. It was life. I picked up the beaker with both hands, cradling it as if it were made of gold. "We did it," I whispered. Endall came up beside me, looking down at the vial. He let out a long, shuddering breath, the tension finally leaving his frame. "Is it... is it pure?" I looked at the viscosity, the color. It was perfect. "It's pure," I said. "It’s stable." I looked up at him, and for the first time in days, I allowed myself to smile. It was a small, weak thing, but it was real.

With a small bow, Alice turned and returned to her duties. Adrian stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Two refrigerators lined the right side of the kitchen. One held an assortment of premium beverages and other drinks, While the other refrigerator contained rows of transparent glass jug filled to the brim with red liquids, resembling aged red wine. Adrian stretched out his hand and took one of the transparent glass jugs filled with red liquid from the second refrigerator. He turned around and picked up a few crystal glass mugs from the side shelf. Everything in the mansion was high-end and luxurious; even the drinking mugs were crafted from pure crystal.

Pine nodded firmly. Kevin convinced herself. From behind, Julio walked over with a tray containing two silver vials, a syringe, and a dagger. Pine looked at the three items nervously. "I will support whatever your decision," said Kevin. Kevin also took one of the two cups, which was the blood cup. "Drink half of it, it will help you fight the pain later." Pine held this cup tightly, she kept looking at its contents feeling hesitant to drink it. The deep red liquid made her even more nervous. She knew that this was the blood of vampires and if she drank it then Pine could no longer retreat.
