The Manticore already had a very disfigured and a creepy face, but unexpectedly its facial expression turned even more repulsive. The beast slowly opened its jaws wide open. Pungent stench and saliva started dripping from its mouth. The beast's stomach started making constipated noises. The sound from its stomach was growing louder every second. A few seconds later they all saw something coming out of its open mouth. The beast was about to puke. Seeing the scene, they all had grossed out expressions.

I chuckle at that, and turn back to meet Quinn's glare. I give her a wide smile, and mouth, "He doesn't want me. A twisted, grinning halfcat, halfhuman monstrosity, its teeth bared in a grotesque smile. Its eyes pierce into hers, hollow and knowing. Jackie stumbles back with a strangled cry. The driver frowns, turning to check the back seat. “Miss? Is everything okay?” She forces herself to look again. The face is gone. Just her own haunted reflection staring back.
