The Omega Queen

The Omega Queen

I only needed his mark. My steps echoed against the floor as I moved toward the far end of the room, where a locked chest rested. I knelt, retrieved the hidden key from beneath a loose tile, and opened it. Inside lay a single silver blade and a vial of venom from the deadlands; undetectable, swift, and excruciating. “One night left, Clarissa,” I whispered, holding the blade to the candlelight. “Either Drey gives me everything, or you breathe your last.”

The Queen of Werewolves

The Queen of Werewolves

I whispered back. He then joined the others, while I was left in the middle of the altar path on my own. On my right, there was the King, accompanied by his queen and both his sons. Meanwhile, on my left were the royal relatives, and from what I could tell, Selene was one of them. The King stepped toward me while holding a silver knife. He then took my right hand and made a cut in the middle of it. Right after, he stated,

The Forsaken Alpha

The Forsaken Alpha

I whisper, slowly placing the chart back in its place. My eyes take in the Queen. I know what I should check first. I move to the side of the bed, pull the blanket off her body and reach for her hospital gown. After a few deep breaths, I slowly push it up. Her abdomen doesn't appear deformed, but a thin, perfect line below her belly button catches my attention. I bend down to get a closer look and gasp. It's a perfect cut that's still healing. Judging by the scar tissue, whoever cut it must be a professional. Could this be a C-section scar, and the King was right all along?

My thoughts so far: I enjoy how easy it seems to connect with characters. Everything they feel is something you can feel while reading. But also, this book has me in tears every time I find a hidden joke. Bravo author, keep up with the good work!

Paranormal romance with steamy scenes just what I like to read. Worth the cost; good length and don’t get skimmed on the chapter length which I appreciate. Enjoyed the story; do wish they had more communication so there would be less misunderstandings though.

The Queen is Man

The Queen is Man

"Tell me, 'Voice of the King.' Do you remember the rose garden? Do you remember the girl who cried because she broke a string on her lute?" "I don't know what you're talking about." "Abigail." The name hit the room like a cannon blast. I stopped breathing. The silk screen felt like a thin sheet of ice. "The Queen died in the fire," Kael said. His voice was low. Uncertain. "We all saw the body. It was charred. Unrecognizable." "We saw a body," Vance said. He stepped forward again. He didn't wait for permission. He reached out and ripped the silk screen down.

The Moon's Mercy: Throne of Ashes

The Moon's Mercy: Throne of Ashes

It was like a still lake reflecting the tall gray columns that rose high into the sky above the pool. And standing in the middle of the black pool wearing a white linen dress that was perfectly clean and with her silver hair braided into a tight three-strand braid that was connected to twelve copper cables of the southern grid, was the First Queen. She didn't have her mask on; her face looked like her grandmother’s face, Queen Eleanor, but her eyes were like two spinning coins with tiny silver numbers in them that showed how much of Elara’s bone marrow was left. She held a heavy steel tool in her right hand, a tool used to mark the royal family trees after someone was executed.

HIS DISCARDED QUEEN

HIS DISCARDED QUEEN

I just want to move on and live in peace, but he refuses to let me have that. “Come on, Isabella. I’ll give you all the properties…” I turned away, ready to walk off, when he suddenly caught my wrist. He held it so tightly I gasped in pain. My injured wrist flared up whenever pressure was applied. “ISABELLA!” I heard a familiar shout, followed by angry curses. Everything happened in a blur. I only realized Dominic had already started hitting Ryan, and Ryan was hitting him back just as hard. “Dominic!” I cried, trying to pull them apart, but then I felt something run down my legs. I looked down in fear and saw blood under my legs.

Which made Celeste lay out a rather loud sigh on the table. "Fine. You got me. Do you need me to put on a request in that topmost Assassin Guild run by Knife to kill her?" Hearing her say that made me chuckle as I stared at me with my tears pushed into a corner. "You can't place a order to Knife to kill Knife." "WHAT THE HELL! ARE YOU SAYING THE QUEEN IS KNIFE!?"Celeste's eyes widened in shock and confusion. "Yup." I spoke, sitting up on the bed folding my legs in a very unladylike manner.

An Open Invitation To Death's Banquet Hall

An Open Invitation To Death's Banquet Hall

King Urano called and she looked up. She had remained awfully quiet since he had shut her in. "Please do as the Physician says". King Urano said and she nodded. The Physician got out a blade from his bag and motioned her forward. "King Dracula, I'd love for you to come help open Queen Diana's mouth". He said and I rushed over without hesitation. He sliced Queen Vanessa's wrist. She screamed in pain and King Urano was behind her immediately. "Sorry my love". He cooed.

Lost Queen

Lost Queen

But then, watching the same people over and over again gets boring overtime. Diving into the book, I reopen to one of my favorite parts of the lycan battles. It is the chapter where the lycan king was brought to his knees by the queen, and makes she him beg her for his life. He wasn’t expecting her, or that she would even do something like that. It is what makes me like it more. I feel like I relate to the queen well. She has always been undermined and underrated, then she wound her full potential and—
