She has a talent for creating suspense, and I find myself genuinely wanting to read the rest of the book to find out how the mystery gets solved. After the reading portion, the author opens the floor for questions from the audience. Several people raise their hands to ask about her writing process, her inspiration for the story, and her previous books.
