I had managed to send them all home a few minutes ago. Mom, Slivia and Cassy all wanted to spend the night but I had argued and Varg drove them home with promises that they would be back in a few hours. Quin felt herself buzzing with energy that wasn't spent and her skin sensitive to the slightest sound of his approaching steps over the floorboards. On the third day the atmosphere changed.
