Sinful Addiction
I kissed him softly, then deeper, tasting salt and sin.
“I know,” I murmured against his lips. “When I’m with you, I feel more alive than I’ve ever felt in my life. Maybe some sins are worth burning for.”
We stayed there for a long time, wrapped in each other’s arms on the desecrated altar. Neither of us made promises about stopping. We both knew we wouldn’t.
Some loves are salvation. Ours was beautiful, devastating, and unholy.
And we would keep choosing it anyway, until the day someone finally opened the wrong door and our secret burned us both to ashes.
