The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

‘What? Kneel before Darryl?’ Rachel violently trembled in defiance and yelled, “No! I won’t kneel!” “What did you say?” Rage was flashing in Zoran’s eyes as he kept trembling. Rachel took a deep breath with her pretty face filled with defiance. “I’ll admit. Previously, it’s me who led Darryl to the volcano crater, but I don’t regret my decisions! If there’s another chance, I’ll still do it again! He’s lucky to be alive. I’ll never apologize to him in my entire life, let alone kneel!”

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

She was going to wait a few more days before giving Lily another dose but today it was better to leave the pack’s territory and look for the magical books in the library. She packed her things up and then walked out of the lodge and headed straight to the entrance of the territory but while she was walking towards the territory someone stumbled into her and Levy couldn’t help but frown as she looked at the person in front of her. Rachel turned to look at Levy, her frown matching Levy’s. “ So, you are still here?” “ And you are still roaming naked? I thought that you might have worn some clothes by now.” Levy shot back, for some reason Rachel was dressed even more obnoxiously than the last ti

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

The Don's Dirty Obsession

The Don's Dirty Obsession

It was a woman, blonde, sharp-featured, with cold blue eyes. “Delia. Long time.” Delia’s gun shook. “Rachel. You’re supposed to be dead.” Rachel smiled. “I got better.” She looked at Cedric. “Hello, Cedric. I’ve heard so much about you. I’m the one who’s been funding Enzo’s operation. I’m also the one who’s going to offer you a deal you can’t refuse.” She held up a photograph. It was Linda, alive, healthy, sitting in a cafe somewhere warm.

Thirst

Thirst

Author’s P. O. V. “Oh hell, how did this happen?” Rachel gasped as soon as her eyes fell on Zoya’s swollen head that had a bandage wrapped around it; She was going to touch it but Zoya stepped back, and with huge difficulty, she stitched her wound. Touching it can make her bleed and that is the last thing she wants. Yash was hearing all of this; his eyes fell on Zoya who was wearing beige pants and a black turtle neck top; “Yash…” Rachel acknowledged his presence as Zoya turned around to look at Yash; once again he was in white clothes.

Dance With The Wicked

Dance With The Wicked

But Belle was too immersed on finding the book she didn’t notice how once Orpha had stepped out of the room, the door to Rachel’s room slowly closed itself in a softest click. Belle looked around the room, her hands were set on the side of her dress. She then recalled Rachel’s habit of storing her secret items inside her closet where there would be a small gap where she could fit a few things inside. Thinking so, Belle hurried to find the small gap, her fingers felt around the bottom of the surface until she felt was seemed to be a book. Pulling it outside, Belle’s eyes were stared affixed on the title of the jet black book. ‘Peccare.’

Being Yours

Being Yours

Or had there been a struggle? Rachel stepped past him, carefully avoiding a collection of discarded shoes and a stack of books with titles like The Tao of Meow and The Heart of Yoga. She crossed to the window and touched the collage of wilting plants on the sill. Shadows bruised her face, deepening her high cheekbones, making her look small and haunted. Not liking the effect, he switched on the light in the breakfast nook. He watched her gaze roam over the room, her eyes narrowed and troubled. It amazed him that the two women were related. They’d lived through the same experiences, suffered the same losses and fears, yet were black and white, as opposite as two people could be. Rachel was th

RESURRECTED?

RESURRECTED?

, Rachel grunts. I want to say "Why", but I don't want to risk sounding like a creep so I whatever her and go back to going through the rest of the shelf even though I'd done that a thousand times before. I drag my hands across the spines of the books; Kara Taylor's Prep School Confidential, Carol Wyer's The Secret Admirer, and Megan Goldin's The Night Swim. You would be subtle to call Rachel a crime-thriller addict - she's more of a crime freak. The Night Swim. There is a piece of paper sticking out of it. I pull it out of the book. Something is scribbled across it in Rachel's handwriting.

Mate? Or Die!

Mate? Or Die!

It was dawn and the sun’s ray casted long shadows across the ancient books scattered on the table. Rachel sat among them with her hands moving methodically as she flipped through pages and her brow was furrowed in concentration. The weight of the pack’s survival, of Gilly’s fate, and of Zone’s worsening condition, seemed to press down on all of us, but Rachel carried it with quiet determination. I stood near the door, pacing as I waited for her to find something—anything—that could guide us.

After the last "I do"

After the last "I do"

I set my fork down, pushing the plate slightly aside, and flipped open the folder. Her name stared back at me. Rachel Hart. Age, qualifications, scraps of experiences that didn’t amount to much except one thing. Catering. The word was highlighted in bold on a résumé that had probably been printed and folded too many times. I read between the lines. Desperation. Persistence. A woman who didn’t have many doors left to knock on. I leaned back in my chair, eyes flicking briefly to her. She watched me with something between fear and hope, her fingers twisting together nervously.

His To Marry

Tay asks and looks at me. “Oh no” Rachel realizes Tay didn’t know about me being the best-selling author, and I clear my throat. “Um, Rachel is the one who published my book when I was still in school.” I tell him. “You have a published book?” he asks with his eyes wide open. “Yep, and she is the best-selling author ever since her book was published. I’m sure you have heard of a book called ‘Behind closed doors?” Rachel asks Tay and his mouth half opens.
